Going be a very interesting fight. Regardless of the outcome you have to give props to Haney for going straight at the top dog at 140 right fr the gate! That kid got balls! Its a dangerous fight for Haney, especially on the inside but at range i could see him cruising to a 12 round decision
💯 hard first fight to take at 140. Yeah if he goes down the disciplined route I can see him totally neutralising Prograis. But I feel Regis will have made the adjustments compared to last fight. Should be a good one!

@@shawnjarmon7960 Teo beat a man that was 17 months out the ring after arguably losing to CATTERAL iin what the world thought was a complete robbery and before that fight Regis beat him in 2019 in Glasgow Scotland in Taylors city yet they gave him a 1 point split decision in his city over Regis and no one said a word 4 yrs ago about the black american guy being stole from in Scotland. 😂 Teo fought a man that was out the game 17 months and was not the #1 at 140 at the time. This is a tricky fight I’m leaning slightly towards Dev only because Regis isn’t the best at cutting the ring off. However Dev has been caught clean with some shots, and Regis can crack, if Regis can keep this in mid range/pocket he can get Dev outta there.

People overlooking how skilled Loma was and in that fight with Haney thinking if he can walk Loma down Regis can also do it but I don't think his as crafty or moves like Loma so I doubt Regis will have much success in this fight I think Haney to slick for him

loma's power does not equal prograis' power, that's for sure. prograis is, self-admittedly, not the most technical boxer, but as he said, he's coming to fight, haney's coming to box.
it'll be an interesting one, that's for sure...i'd give it to haney easily (unfortunately), BUT prograis has some skill & interesting choices stylistically, & his left hand seems like a mini-wilder right hand 💣, haha...haney can't keep him away for 12 rounds. may the best fighter that night win. ♥️🥊♾️
Facts. Regis isn’t on the same level as Lima when we talk skills. Which is why Loma was able to use those angles and footwork to catch Dev. Also, Loma is a high volume puncher too. Much different fighter than Regis. Regis style is tailor made for Dev to beat, but in boxing anything can happen.
Regis is likely not getting a decision, even if he deserves it. I think he understands this. His coaches definitely do. And I think he can stop Devin. Will be hard.
Yeah I think he’s capable of getting the knockout, needs to make the most of his opportunities at close range. But will be tough ask
@@BoxingLife Yeah. Absolutely. For me it’s the JoJo fight that I found most telling. I hope he takes a page from JoJo. JoJo kept going to the body for the first four rounds or so, and that allowed him later to go up over the top with some looping lefts. You can see Devin try to catch the body shot with his elbow and being open up top for those JoJo lefts that landed. If it had been Regis and not JoJo who had done this, then Haney would have been KO’d. I’m pretty sure. So I hope he tries that in this fight.
As you can tell I’m a long time Regis fan and not fan whatsoever of Haney lol I respect his skills however.

@@funkrates4778 you never know. Devin is more action-packed than Shakur. And he has what I consider the best-worst chin in boxing. Easy to hurt but hard to stop or drop. He should also have better punch resistance as he has been drained for a while. Basically im hoping he has more strength and puts on a show even if he boxes every now again. I really like Regis though; I hope he wins or at least doesn't lose stock if he doesn't get the W.

Not gonna lie Haney shocked me I didn’t think he was gonna be that sharp
In this fight Progrias southpaw style has been his gift. In this fight it will be his course. He jabs and hooks with the off hand down. Relying on head movement to dodge. Haney is such an efficient fighter with the lead jab and defensive responsible that Prograis will be left reaching wide left hooks. Exposing a wide open head for Haney. Haney will start slow setting traps then brutally puniish RP for 10th round stoppage
Good video Regis has good reflexes. That’ll be the biggest surprise to Haney. But ultimately haney’s IQ and speed will win him the fight.
Haney might be elusive but he don’t be coming out his fights pretty I feel like if you can work past his jab with feints while cutting off the ring it’ll force him to get up close and personal but knowing Haney this is gonna be hug match any time he feels like he’s in trouble.
Love both fighters but listen… if Devin had more power he would be top 3 in boxing… the shots he be hitting ppl with is pure sharpness

I think that’s very harsh to say he’s not the ‘most technical boxer’. I’d say he is a lot more technical than most. Sure he likes to fight and I agree some of his technical aspects go out the window when he does let his hand go. But I think he’s one of better technically gifted fighter out there right now. But yeah let’s see what happens on Sat, could all go out the window

Lots of fighters have deadly power yet don’t knockout every opponent they face. Foreman couldn’t knockout Ali, Trinidad couldn’t knockout Hopkins. If you watch boxing you will know some fighter have better chins and durability. Doesn’t mean their punches didn’t land 🤦♂️just look at josh Taylor’s face after the fight.

Just because he didn't land doesn't mean its not powerful. Obviously Haney completely took it away last night. But like I said, lots of fighter that have/had deadly power sometimes don't land it due to the opponent. Styles make fights. I think the hate Haney gets is uncalled for. He gassed a bit against Loma and doesn't have the KO power that fans would like. But make no mistake, Devin is a supremely gifted boxer and deserves his spot at the top. Hope he can turn in a statement performance to silence the doubters.

It’s Vegas man. The NSAC is not really an agency. It’s a business. So it works hand in hand with promoters, networks, and sanctioning bodies to maximize profits. The NSAC stopped receiving state funding a long time ago. Its primary means of profit comes from Boxing. Those judges are hired to do a job, and it’s not judging.
Come on man stop living through Loma. He lost. He had 1 higglight round with a few moments in that round. Another rd 10 and 8 maybe. But a few rounds dont win a full fight. Giving Loma punches that domt land is absurd. 1 judge was realistic and 2 tried hard to make the favorite guy a winner or a draw. Move on man. Kambosas was a robbery. Romero was a robbery. Maybe even Colbert. That Taylor vs Catteral was a robbery. No one had Loma winning the fight the first 9 rounds. At all. Move on brother 🥊
