In the video of the Eurovision at the yt channel at the flag parade there was a big thing at the up of the stage I know it's a special effect but how did they manage to do it!?!?!?!??? 😲😲
I have one question : why on the official Eurovision channel during the flag parade there was a large platform with people inside hanging over the stage, and why there is no one here. Either the platform didn't get caught on camera, or it was all a montage?
AI. it wasn't real. there was also a lot use of AI in esc 2019 in Israel. they made it so good and real that you really need to look for it... in 2021 they made a decent job. i think they used AI only in flag parade
@@jeniatmtm7540 They used it a fair bit actually. Like Israel the title cards "flag" graphics on the ceiling with AR (albeit Israel had actual lights as well as AR infill). The social bit Nikki did was AR too with the floating profiles. Afrojack's performance was also AR for a good part in the arena when they projected the Rotterdam Bridge. The one thing I didn't realise was virtual was the country names that appeared to be floating (not the ones you see on the screen here). I thought they used the transparent LED screen for that as they seemed to be in the same place as the transparent screen was for the performances.
Flag parade this year was kinda shitty tbh. Nothing special compared to 2019. Boring woman voice announcing the countries and people walking down the catwalk with generic unemotional house music in the background. The "Im your Venus" song that the hosts sang was totally out of place and had nothing to do with the entire show.
I had the same feeling. Many thought it was because of the pandemic but they were like 40 dancers on the stage. In my opinion 2019 and 2016 were the best flag parades. I thought 2018 in Portugal was kind oh meh but now I am looking back and 2021 probably turned to my least favorite
I enjoyed the flag parade of this year's USC a lot. The song they play apparently was produced by a young DJ Pieter Gabriel (16 y/o, he stands at the balcony) to give a stage to young, creative talent from the Netherlands, and I think they did an amazing job with that.

This year they were working with a virtual version of the stage as addition to the normal stage.

2019 was the best but i also love 2016.
2021 was a big disappointment with the opening and finale interval acts (my opinion).
This year was a bad Flag parade, but the camerawork and de lights where better than 2019
Its always easy to critisize. Would have been nicer to give some great ideas, but I guess they are also lacking.
