Fantastic cable!
My only concern here would be by adding the Solder and the WBT connector, You’ve just added two layers of connections which would impede the flow of electrons to the spade or the banana plug. Personally, I would use a crimping connector directly to the copper wire. And possibly soldering afterwards, and then seal the whole thing with the shrink wrap to prevent oxidization.
Hi
Up to you how you do it. You can add a bit of solder if you want to. As long as there is a good electrical contact
Regards
@@hificollective Put a layer of thin solder on the banana plug or the spade and do a before and after test and I guarantee you’ll hear a sound degradation because of the solder coating.
A question concerning the WBT sleeve that goes over the bare stripped copper ends. Isn't the sleeve suppose to be crimped onto the bare (unsoldered) copper stranded ends using a promper crimping tool?
yes !
An expert at work - lol; it is a shame how you treat the Neotech
Do not over tighten the screws right? Just wait until the screw head slips and its good? 🤣🤣🤣 Very educational.... 😆
Btw, special crimping pliers are used for a professional work. Seeing how you make cables for your customers... I would probably ....................
How to spoil a fantastic speaker cable...
