I don't really get it, when they say they are slaves abroad forgetting that in Ghana our own people treats others as slaves.
I can attest to the fact that about 65% of Ghanaians earn slave wages. They earn peanuts and can't have any decent life. Corruption everywhere because most people don't earn enough to sustain themselves and their family.
They sometimes make comparison to Ghana, meanwhile the standard of living there is way better than Ghana.
The problem is that after travelling, instead of focusing and settling first , they start big projects in Ghana so any money they earn isn't enough for them.

@@mzingaroginoIt’s the same America yet the Indians and Mexicans succeed within the first five years because they support each other. They know it makes no sense to travel abroad and still be struggling financially. One person will get a house or an apartment and as many as 10 people will share the space and split the bills so instead of one person paying let’s say $3000 per month, everyone contributes something towards the rent or mortgage and grocery and get to save the rest so it’s a win-win for everyone. Indians are dominating the IT industry because one person gets in there and helps like 10 of his people to also get in there and the process continues but when it comes to the Ghanaian community, it’s not like that at all. Only a few are supportive because of bad experiences. Most often than not, try helping someone and the next thing on the person’s mind is how to bring you down and so for this reason, most Ghanaians keep to themselves.
Some people too are just wicked and don’t want to help because the mentality is that “ I don’t want you to be like me or even better than me so I won’t help you even if I can”.
It really saddens my heart how other nationalities love themselves and build each other up but with the Ghanaian community, it’s the opposite.
So the question is where did we go wrong? What is our problem? What is wrong with us? How can we fix this before it becomes a pandemic like Covid-19?
