      In no doubt that this project is likely going to cost more than a R5 done… but where is the fun in that!

    Milwaukee FTW! Believe it or not, disassembling is the easy part 😂Next time I would start at the top though, hoses, cables and acillary stuff, easier to clear things up and makes it lighter to later remove engine from subframe.

    Haynes? The first engine I took out (1975 so memory might be problematic) I thought I just followed Mr Haynes pictures in the book.

      Indeed we are following the trustee Haynes however this motor has a few surprises! We are also having to learn what each step actually means!

      I really don’t. It will depend on how many of the components need replacing rather than reconditioning. It a good idea though so might keep a counter going. 👍
