    The emotion in this song, the narration of a young girl , giving the story of her life, she watching the funeral proceedings of her mom, too young to understand what is happening "Zandl' ezincinci zalahl' uthuth' eluthuthweni singasazi nesizathu", am shattered when she highlights the very aspect that her dad never cried during the whole proceeding, my assumption is that he is doing as expected of african man, "real man dont cry", Zang' alile uyise wam mhla kwakufihlwa umzimba wesithandwa seminyaka, im also left to assume twas probably him trying to keep it together for the kids, he couldnt break down, at least not infront of his kids.The death of a mother is such a sad thing, themessage and emotion in this song is something else

    (Come closer my friend Here follows a long tale about where the trouble started
    I was raised by my father Who was bereaved at a young age by his true darling,

    The middle child of my father, Bhut' Doc Nceba Mahola
    Never did my father cry, when they hid the body of the love of many years At Don Bosco;
    Kwazakhele four rooms (with a dining room table) in Port Elizabeth
    Neither did the three cry at the side of the grave,
    Small hands throwing dust to dust not knowing the reason:

    her voice just calms me down, and I've been asking myself when will she ever go solo and preserve our African tunes.

    2024 , still therapeutic as ever. First time I heard it was at a wedding 14 yrs ago ,being played from a Mercedes Benz and the car sound system projected it so beautifully. What a Masterpiece,!❤❤❤❤
