    Cannot imagine a pickle without mustard...mustard is the main ingredient in any pickle..it is the game changer and gives such a unique taste to the preserve.

    It's v difficult look simple my mother use to prepare. Even vinegar was prepared home. Vinegar we catch cold too but v yummy n tasty thanks .you reminded my old days

    Such a delicious dried mackrel pickle. Unfortunately I may not get that sort of dried fish overseas.

    Dear aunty .. I made your paro recipe using bombil and bangda as main ingredients and they both turned out superb...only thing is I added cashew feni also, as my mother said so. Also I made ur mol recipe using mackerel....again...superb

    Once I soak the chillies, i use the left over vinegar to clean/wash the mackerels and use fresh vinegar to grind the paste

    This dry fish we can clean and wash in the water we dry on the sun for 3-4 days before making this pickle nice recipe

    Para especially are made from dry squids n also sweet water fish dried n name I cannot remember. Kite fish dry also done.

    How much onions did you saute before adding .to the masala and grinding it. Which is the vinegar you used. It looked like some fruit vinegar. Which capacity were the vinegar bottles: 600 ml, 750ml or 1 ltr? I am sure the pickle will be very tasty.

      Do not have to store in the fridge ..you can keep it out for months but dont allow moisture to its contact

      No it can last for years but with caution if not bring water vapour any wer close to it ..every time the jar has to be air tight
