This is a truly astonishing project. Doing this right,making it strong enough,getting it balanced so it doesn't tear itself apart...none of that is easy. What a great idea you had ! It looks beautiful,and it is pretty dog-gone straight and true, especially for not being made in a jig.

Lada should have used you guys to advertise for them, you see the pain you put them through and they still keep ticking . My own Lada got a stuck closed thremostate and I make it home ( 230 miles ) by turning the heater on full blast and useing that as the radiator. Summer time , mountain roads . All tne windows open lol . I loved that little car , brand new 4400 bucks . I bet somewhere that car is still running.

Great job. Just paint it all with the same color. I definitely like to see more artistic modifications and restorations, things that look factory-made.

I actually think they look pretty nice, and I can be SUPER picky with wheel designs. In my mind they have a vaguely late 80's sort of look about them.
Only problem I can see is that the effect would be screwed if they were on a 4 or 3 stud/lug car. A manufacturer would have to design different wheels to work on 3, 4 and 5 stud hubs. That would seriously limit the sales on each design. Tooling costs big money, so they only usually want to make a range of 3 to 5 different diameter wheel molds and adjust the castings for fitment through simple CNC machining....... Or maybe they could make "Universal" 5 or 6 bolt wheels (one per desired wheel diameter), and include a vehicle specific hub adaptor kit to adjust it for different PCD, stud count and offsets?
I've never seen you and your team messing with Wankel engines and Mazdas....
Your conrod style is beautiful and custom wheel hubs seems to be your "sport".
A wheel hub with a suitably augmented rotor from a Wankel would look nice on the right car. That's MY idea.

Ok I’m not big on fancy wheels and flashy but I would rock some rod wheels like this in a heartbeat. I have the International 7.3L Turbo diesel with forged rods, they could make some pretty awesome wheel spokes. Also have to say when moving they look amazing.

Experiment idea: try making it so that you can rotate the front wheels of a car 90 degrees out (so that one wheel is 90 degrees outward and the other wheel 90 degrees invard) Btw nice vids🙂
Those are beautiful, I'll bet the centrifugal mass is off the chart though being made out of case hardened steel.

I would love to see a video that would show how you can overcome a situation DIY style and something myself and the other DIY out there can do. Im currently building a 1st generation pathfinder and I would love to learn how to set it up for overland off roading in mountains and water and trees. Any and all suggestions and ideas on making it an epic yet budgeted build would be more than appreciated and I love the channel and videos. Keep up the awesome work.

I actually rather like that design, it is a bit reminiscent of the good, old 1980's Teledials from Porsche. A modern take on the Teledial.
You could make some business manufacturing these wheels. "Neo-classic look, and highly resistant to kerbing. Worth their weight in gold!"
