God this brings back memories. I haven't listened to them in forever and I went from collecting CD's upon CD's and merch upon merch after saving money for it after months of cleaning and yardwork jobs. School was horrible, my parent's relationship was ending, my grandmother passed away, and my friend group was completely falling apart. I LOVED their music so much and I only now realize how much it really meant to me. So thankful I had the chance to see them in concert at a time where they felt so incredibly special to me.

i relate SO HARD to this comment. omg. i literally forgot about all the tons of songs and t-shirt’s i had from them. i’m going through it right now remembering all of my favorite songs from them listening to them and looking for all of my merch. i wish i could relive the concert i went to. i don’t like much of their music :( what id do to go back to the time when they were on their hiatus / trench era

When I was younger I would always see my sister listening to regional at best on her laptop. This album cover is engraved into my brain. This is one of the few songs I remember her listening to and that she showed me, and she started my twenty one pilots phase and I’m so thankful for that. I didn’t understand the songs when I was younger but now I relate to them and they’re one of the few bands I can relate to. I don’t think my sister knows how thankful I am for that :,))

This song really did something to me. So many memories and the feeling it gives off still gives me chills. Epic.
anathema is always gonna be so so special to me no matter i listen to top anymore or not. the feelings attached to this song are so insane to feel again.
I started listening to them years ago before a lot of really horrible shit happened to me, and they're one of the only artists who I find myself regularly coming back to even now, their older music just stays the same and connects with me, trying to understand everything

Tyler said when asked that regional doesn't exist, the album won't ever be coming because by the time they were recording vessel they had newer songs they wanted to put it on it and that regional was just so they had something to sell at shows. Even now that I'm better I love to sing my heart out to their songs that resonated with me, and helped make me feel less alone in my struggles, it feels like looking back at my past and helping me truly appreciate where I am now along the road to improving my mental health from where I was close to throwing my life away to now where I'm actually pretty happy
