@@CDrim Depends on the MC. The one from A Brand New Day, as MatPat points out a few times during the playthrough, actually does a decent few things right, like taking and telling Sayori’s parents about the noose in her drawer, checking up on Sayori, helping Natsuki in the standoff against her Dad and doing everything he can to protect her, and taking away Yuri’s knives to make sure she doesn’t hurt herself anymore, just to name a few notable things (although, some of the things he does *are* still questionable, but some of those could be altered in the final release).

He checked up on Sayori and even if you go down Natsuki or Yuri's route he still almost cancels his plan just to be there for Sayori, Part that people miss is MC's development IS the club that's the point of his character well until act 2 then it becomes about the player that being US
let's hope they all come out soon! I already feel lucky to have pop parade figures of monika which I've now realized is very rare 😅😅

maybe the white dress one was just the creator making one cuz it looked good? no clue. but i think that theee should be a figurine for all characters, 1 in uniform and 1 in casual clothes.

I would imagine they will eventually release natsuki and Yuri soon but it will probably be a while
I'm sad that the Yuri figure hasn't been revealed yet, especially considering they announced it months ago. It's a bit unfair to see them instead announce the final product of the Monika figure with the white dress. Even though Monika is in the hearts of all players, I don't think she's necessarily the most popular. Yuri is a very mysterious character and we know little about her, which makes her fascinating.
My opinion is not that Monika is better than the other girls. Personally, I love all four of them. If they ever make a "Satsurika" figure (which is impossible but I hope so), I'll be the first to pre-order her!
Oh believe me I hear so many fans talk about Monika almost everyday! and they defend her way too much I respect they're opinion but they give her way too much credit and ignores her evil side as if she never had one
Though at least we got a pop up Sayori though it is sad that Monika gets a second one while Yuri and Natsuki sit by the sidelines but hey if Monika is loved most then Monika will get more merch just the way marketing works
@@elioridacow I'm really sorry that marketing pushes Monika more. Unfortunately, it's true that many of us are attracted to bad characters (just look at how many defend Jeff the Killer, Slenderman, Light Yagami, Alastor and of course Monika). Part of the blame lies with the Team Salvato and Serenity Forge, as you can see from the DDLC Plus box art where Monika is highlighted.
I completely understand your frustration. I'm also sad to see Yuri and Natsuki on the sidelines, but I can't deny that Monika has a particular charm. Sorry if I'm the one who does it, but sometimes, when I think of Yuri, I also think of Monika. I just hope that in the future there will be more balance in merchandising.

Like I said I respect that people love Monika but I'm not one of those people and I feel as if they defend her way to much and give her way too much credit
@@elioridacow Sayori is by far my favorite but i definitely feel like Monika is the most popular, it makes sense that they focus on her. I hoenstly dont mind the delays because it means i have a chance to save up the money to get them instead of them all being rushed so fast.

People need to understand this stuff takes time to make and it takes alot when you wanna make enough for people to collect, And budget and other things while there are stuff I want to be out already I don't rage about it because I understand this stuff is easier said than done

im sure they will be released! sometimes their production schedules are a little odd but i wouldnt be surprsied if yuri gets shadow dropped before the end of the year like Sayori did. Peoplpe seem to be forgetting that Sayori didnt even get an announcement when she came out.
If Monika is a villain so is everyone who's killed anything in a game ever
Not how that works. She killed the others out of malice and because she was jealous. Many characters kill the villain's goons because they will not ever change their ways.
@Tracks2008 They're not real either way, so killing them is not morally incorrect. Besides, she expresses remorse for killing people she KNOWS are fictional. And it wasn't out of malice, as if it was, she would've just killed everyone the moment you booted up the game. It is mentioned that she does everything SHORT of killing everyone before resorting to that, and the only one she actually does kill is Natsuki, while she may have influenced it, she never actually tried to deliberately kill everyone else, and it is very clearly stated in game that she just tried "to make them as unlikeable as possible". She never directly caused HARM to them.
If logic doesn't appeal to you, let's try emotional appeal.
Imagine you're a beautiful, athletic, straight A student, whose already under a lot of stress due to trying and mostly failing to make a successful Literature Club. Now imagine you suddenly learn that you and everything else, and everyone you love isn't real. Nothing is real. Over time, it begins to drive you into a depression, you almost want to kill yourself, but then someone joins. Someone REAL. Something REAL. Would you not want to latch onto the only thing in your world that had meaning? Most people would likely be a lot WORSE than Monika in her situation. She doesn't even know what she's really doing when it comes to programming, she's learning on the fly throughout the game, as evidenced by the fact that her changes are buggy, to say the least. She's using what little she knows to improve her situation. She remains rational even in a situation with infinite stakes.
And as for your argument for the difference between the girls and villains goons, there is no difference. Sure, we love the girls much more, but at the end of the day, they're fictional, and as such their morality is irrelevant. They don't exist. And people don't just murder villains goons. Most people will murder whatever they can in a video game.

Monika didn't just not do anything wrong, but she also couldn't have done much better.
A villain can be defined as a bad person.
Monika did what most people would do, but better.
Monika is therefore a good person.
Her morals are fine.
What she did can't actually be defined as murder.

They are all sad and sorry when they don't get their way but the moment they do they are back at their game again to make certain their victim does what they want. I have first hand knowledge of this thanks to my bitch of a mother. If you want to blind yourself to what was written for this character so you can simp for it then fine.
