I am a new swiftie at fifty 😂 as a new swiftie I went down the rabbit hole last year and when Taylor won person of year Cindy Crawford did a tiktok of taking the trash out a play off of Taylor's quote about Kim Kardashian. Sorry I went left field but when I seen Cindy in this video that's all I could think about. Taylor is just iconic. She is leaving her mark on this world like a legend 🫶🏻

She does really high quality videos, she writes all her own songs, but I think it's her live vocals that'll impress you. You should check out Ready For It (with intro) and Don't Blame Me from her Reputation Tour first. But if you want to compare a total 180 of her vocals, genres and versatility, check out the Long Pond live session. My Tears Ricochet (about her previous label boss, considered a friend, who betrayed her over her masters=why she's rerecording her first 6 albums) and Exile. Both are quite, restrained and will rip your heart out 😂

Nice job! I’ve subscribed and am looking forward to seeing you do more Tswift videos. As a swiftie, I’m often surprised by how many people don’t realize that Taylor’s music ranges over several styles and genres (pop, country, folk, alt, indie, rock…).
Her live performances and music videos are both fantastic. I would suggest that, ideally, you should plan on doing a combination of music video and live performance for each TSwift song whenever both exist.
I suggest focusing on some fan favorites to start with (which tend to not be her biggest radio hits).
For some less aggressive songs, I suggest her albums folklore and evermore. For folklore, PLEASE watch the Long Pond Sessions movie clips, when possible. In fact, I’d strongly recommend doing an entire movie reaction for that movie, if you are willing to do so. Here are two examples from the movie:

“We was on D like DOC, remember that?”-OK so ‘DOC’ means drug of choice generally. So when Kendrick says they were ‘on D’, he’s saying that their friendship used to be like a drug; it was something that made them both happy and they always wanted more of each other.
“My TLC was quite OD, ID my facts”-’TLC’=tender loving care and ‘OD’=overdose. So he’s saying that his love and appreciation for the other person was so great that it was almost too much. When he says ‘ID my facts’, it’s kind of like saying ‘Check my facts’ or whatever and it just means he’s saying like you can check my facts, but what I am saying is definitely right.
“Now POV of you and me, similar Iraq”-’POV’ means point of view. So he’s saying that from his point of view, their situation has become full on warfare, similar to the Iraq war.
“I don’t hate you, but I hate to, critique, overrate you”-He doesn’t hate the other person, but he’s not going to pay them a compliment either personally or about their work when he doesn’t genuinely think that.
“These beats of a dark heart, use basslines to replace you”-He works on his music and loses himself in it in order to forget the loss of their friendship.
“Take time and erase you, love don’t hear no more”-He’s taking the time to erase the other person from his life and forget what happened.
“No I don’t fear no more, better yet respect ain’t quite sincere no more”-He’s not scared or intimidated by this person any more and isn’t afraid to speak out against them for hurting him. He feels that any ‘respect’ this artist pays towards him is a double edged sword-their compliments aren’t wholly sincere, instead they’re backhanded and with the intention of hurting or belittling him.

I’m a 63yr old Aussie mum who grew up seeing AC/DC live with the great Bon Scott in Melbourne so many times in the 70’s as a teenager and have always loved Floyd, Zeppelin, Sabbath and heavy rock. This is the first time that I have ever listened to a Taylor Swift song. She has just toured here and truly, I was so sick of hearing about her (no offence to her). Her music has just never interested me, but give me Bad Omens, Rammstein and Falling in Reverse and I’m there for it! So here we go!

First time I watch a video of you reactions and i’m willing to keep on doing it because you seem to be a kind and honest man by seeing a few different factor that’s gets to be put in a music video etc… Indeed you should keep reacting to Taylor Swift, i’m pretty sure you will find many song that you will like and feel really connected even if it’s in a different experience that has happened in your life! I recommend go watch any song from the Album ~ Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions. She would give an explanation why she wrote the each song and what it means to her, as well as how she sees or has a perspective about what she tells i’m each song.

Anything from folklore and the long pond sessions especially, My tears ricochet, this is me trying or Cardigan. Champagne problems from evermore is also good, or anything from her more stripped back performances, such as the Grammy Museum. Really if you tell people what you like, then they can make suggestions in line with your interest.
