I personally think he's great. Can cancel 623D/623BD into any special so I'm still figuring out the most optimal routes after close C > 6A > 623BD > 41236AC. His damage output is pretty standard, but he allows for great mix-ups and mind games with 214BD when you get your offense started. (214D makes you negative if you land an overhead, so no combo continuation. Move must be enhanced for full overhead combos). His 623AC can catch off any button (even his far A for midscreen routes or close D in the corner). His zoning seems pretty strong too if you know your spacing.
Still got a lot more to learn with him. But he's already on my main team. Hopefully you get to have fun with him too when you try him. 😅
EDIT: Forgot to mention he also has his command grab super, and his close B links into close C at point blank for optimal punish combo routes
