idk if this is just me but david/his mic was kinda low compared to tim’s. other than that, i love the new podcast and always love seeing you two in vids together!!

Yea agreed I think the mic was actually on the side of his mouth so if he got to far it would go low

Honestly I love hearing David so talk about food lol idk if its his voice or how he articulates probably both but his food commentary is underrated imo I love this!!!

Yeah I love mooncakes, but that's exactly what they are. Perfect with tea first thing in the morning. Terrible after eating a bunch of heavy food or if your expectations were a moist cookie/pastry

David! I literally had almost the exact experience at a K bbq place I went to in Koreatown in Cali when I went with my friend. It took forever for us to get sat and it wasn't even busy but then once we were sat we got our meat and we never got any more service after that even when we were trying to leave we couldn't get anyone to stop at our table to give us the check. So because of all of that we each gave 15% tip still and the server came outside to tell us to put more tip while we were trying to get in our Lyft and almost wasn't letting us leave. Even then I did 3 stars because the food was good

I think it’s due to the production cost too. It’s hard for shows to survive because of production costs and logistics. Netflix may be trying to send their focus on the next Squid Game. I can’t blame them.

out of curiosity I went back to ur last send foodz to look at what you guys said about the cookies thing and I think it was about the hopia deserts. the place was name dropped and after the first bite david spits it out and says it's like play doh. it was such a small part of the vid tho
Hopia has a general dry taste though - so if ur not familiar with it you might think it’s too dry - but that’s the way it is and is meant to be.

I think Tim puts his mouth closer and David steps further back. I was noticing that when I heard him lower.
...I'm sure there is a mixer in the studio to ensure the sound is balanced. Just need to run a check next time.
