In this video we are going to focus on BLUE MAGIC MEMBERS WHO HAVE passed away and pay tribute to their contributions. Blue Magic is an American R&B and soul group, and one of the more popular Philadelphia soul groups of the 1970s. Founded in 1972, the group's original members included lead singer Ted Mills with Vernon Sawyer, Wendell Sawyer, Keith Beaton, and Richard Pratt. Their most notable songs included smooth soul ballads such as "Sideshow", "Spell", "What’s Come Over Me", "Three Ring Circus", and "Stop to Start”.

I love the Blue, never missed them when they came to DC. Stop to Start warms my heart!
I loved everything they made.
In 1967-thru to 69 I went to Ben Franklin high with Blue Magic and the Stylistics and most of us went to Central HIGH for rehearsal because we were chosen to be in the Philadelphia all city boys choir and we used to display our ability to sing songs at lunch time however the other groups went on to record and perform on stage
I believe that I made my first child off Blue Magic's "Teach Me How To Love" in 1978. My high school sweetheart and I used to make love off that 45 we played over and over...
Chasing Rainbows, SPELL and WHATS COME OVER ME are few of my favs

The best of classic soul !!!
Stringing me along and ALL the song’s on the The Magic of the Blue album. It had all the original MFSB orchestra members playing on there. The true Sigma sound Philly soul. Norman Harris was behind all the songs on here. It’s their best Album. Trust me, have a listen to it.
Totally agree
