    Seems to me the greatest problems are government policies.

    No no no. The main problem is that far too many people dont want to do the hard work of growing food and raising animals on small family farms. They want to just buy food and the result is that the argi economy is all about using toxic chemicals to create income for a few. So many people are looking at solutions in the wrong areas.

      @@rsmerasmusuniversity We need to reduce the need for massive complicated supply chains which waste so much fuel. Most people rely on markets and supermarkets to shop for their food. But if you put the power and responsibility back in the hands of the consumers, to grow their own gardens, raise their own chickens, and network with other growers you'd see true sustainability and a return to healthier living. This would require each household to have a few acres, but that is actually completely possible.
