I've been great full, blessed to see many of these messages from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I want to say thank you to Apostle Uchtorf for this is one of my favorite speeches. Through the Spirit of the Holy Ghost I've had one of the most beautiful Sabbath Day, thank you Lord Jesus Christ. This message spoke to me and I pray thankfully, great fully, and obey to serve the Lord as an obedient servant and obeying all Commandments and law's in the Book of Mormon and Bible. I've been blessed , great full, thankful for many blessings bestowed upon me today and I Believe and Testify Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ Lives. As we at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wait for the coming of Jesus Christ our Savior and the Living Prophet Russell Nelson leading all members to Jesus Christ our Savior soon. Today was my First General Conference and I'm blessed, thankful, greatful to have been with my beautiful,caring, giving, kindness, and so much more brother's and sisters at Church in Bauang and La Union. I felt joy, tears of joy, the spirit of the Holy Ghost, focused, I prayed greaceiously, and so much more, Today has been a day of a Truthful Changeful day in my FAITH with worshipping Heavenly Father and his begotten son Jesus Christ our Savior and Redeemer with the presence of the spirit of the Holy Ghost, Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for inspiring us all to be Living Disciples and I'm humbled, greatful, and i pray to serve the Lord upon his calling. I love you Lord with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. I'm thankful, Blessed, great ful to our Living Prophet Russell Nelson, Counselors, Quarom of the 12 Apostles, The Seventy, The Relief society and welfare program, President Oldroph, and Sister Oldroph for serving the Lord wonderfully here in Bauang and La Union, other leaders, brothers and sisters, visitors, to worship the Lord here in Bauang la Union for this beautiful Spiritual loving Day through the spirit of the Holy Ghost. Thank you Lord Jesus for this Life as I witnessed a powerful righteous loving caring feeling and so much more. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen
Amen to that. I pray the Lord continues to bless you as you grow in the knowledge and love of the Saviour. I also pray that you may be a much-needed blessing of love and service to those around you.
Greatest talk ever for me personally. Having been inactive for sometimes, punishing myself for joining the Church late in my early 40 tie's thought was the wrong decision and felt not true enough in comparison with those who we're baptized and grew in the Church! The talk in it's in tire way clarified and removed all unrighteous thoughts and made me whole again in the way of true Discipleship and to endured like a seed and not to be a spectators by the way side or sitting in a sofa doing nothing! I'm greatful for you Apostle Uchtdorf.
That’s an incredible conversion story. I can testify even when you are born & raised in the church, it doesn’t mean you are converted. Everyone must work for it. Satan will always whisper excuses to us to stay away from the Savior’s church. I realized I just needed to stick with Him regardless of what happens or who does what. ❤
Jesus took upon Him the sins of the world in a garden? Show me that in the bible. Its all about the perfect sacrifice, the blood, the cross, the death, the resurrection, not a garden. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:18)
We view the atonement (the great sacrifice of our Lord) as a 3 part process. First his suffering in the garden as outlined in Luke 22: 39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him. 40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. 41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, 42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. 44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. Then part 2 is as you say on the cross of Calvary. Here he willingly gave up His life, as we see in Luke 23: 46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Then part 3 is the most important thing for all us. It is that Christ conquered death! That the tomb wasn't and isn't the end. As in Luke 24: 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. 3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: 5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen Hopefully this helps you understand why, we believe that the garden was apart of the atonement as well as the cross.
@@WyoCutlass71 Bruce R. McConkey spoke about the three gardens of God, being the Garden of Eden, where the divine plan of God became operative, Gethsemane where Christ paid for that plan, and the Empty Tomb, where the door to the last phase of the plan was opened for each of us.
