CO/LAB Leaders are experienced CO/LAB actors who are interested in developing and deepening skills and strategies related to leadership, advocacy, and participation in the arts. Leaders participate in many elements of CO/LAB’s operations: class, administration, and representation of the organization in New York City and nationally. CO/LAB:leaders, in part, is CO/LAB’s answer to the Disability Justice Movement’s call: ‘Nothing About Us, Without Us.’ In return, it is CO/LAB’s intent to build skills in CO/LAB:leaders that they can utilize in many settings inside and outside of the organization.
