Why are people in the comments acting surprised that JYP can "still" write good songs, sing, and dance? I mean, the dude is constantly writing hits for artists under his label. He doesn't "still got it", he never lost it.

まじで最高です。1989年って日本だと平成元年じゃん。自分は1989年よりもずっと後に生まれたけど、どこか懐かしさがあって好きです。何よりもジニョン先生の声とダンスが飽きない。カムバするたびに最高の曲を出してくれてもう感謝しかないです。

In my opinion, all the music that JYP releases is very good and not boring at all. The concept is always good, even the sound and music blend smoothly, I like it.

JYP said in a very recent interview that this song is about himself, that although people says that he is a changed man since he lives as a Christian, deep inside he hasn't changed at all. He wanted to shout this out to the world that in fact unlike what you all think, I am not changed at all, I am the same guy inside. The music is that of 80s his favorite era, and he needed to call in Wan Sun Kim bc he couldn't find any dancer who could perform that era's dance.

I have nothing but respect for JYP. He is not afraid of being himself and doing things with his style. I love the retro aspect which he many times have done with his music. Music videos are always done very well in a way that they raise many feelings and are very good quality. I like his intelligence and humour also. Excellent person all in all!
