As a Lakers fan I can say with complete confidence that Denver has beat the brakes off us for like the last 8 games. There’s a high likelihood that LA will be their opponent if Denver gets that number one seed, which is why they’re pushing. Reschedule the White House visit. I don't often disagree with Charles, but he's wrong here. Why should it be an honor to visit a politician? Plus, Jokić and Murray aren't Americans, plus I doubt too many of these players are so political that they are gonna prioritize a meeting with somebody that likely doesn't know which city the Nuggets represent. Jokić is definitely not a political person. From what I've read and heard, he is not really that active at home, so why should he feel 'privileged' and 'honored' to visit a foreign government? I think that Chuck is taking this the wrong way you have to really understand conflicting schedules as most teams visit the White House when they visit the wizards. It’s not their fault that when they visited dc it was a schedule conflict on the governments end and they try to reschedule it late into the season
