Try using an audio splitter. Connect 2 earphones. Recent macbooks and ipads have this problem of not providing input audio by default.
Do these ports support audio interface when connected with MacBook Air M1?
Yeh video aap pura sunia. He said clearly near 3:50 mark that he has tried many non Apple adapters to connect directly and they don’t work properly. He said you have to use the Apple adapter first then only connect a hub. Hope this helps you

The pen drive and external monitor gets off and on suddenly when you unplug the charger. does the same happen with these usb hubs?

Yes definitely bro you should go for the usb c to 3.5 mm adapter but do buy the original one from apple...because if you buy any 3rd party one, it may reduce the sound quality and also the loudness or intensity of the output from ipad.

I have seen some experts recommending not to connect hub directly to the IPAD. They suggest to connect Apple USB adapter first then connect the hub to the USB Apple USB Adapt.

As per your view which Docking Station is ideal for MacBook Pro. By d way old audio port is out of industry, then you have the audio port in MacBook Pro, then nowadays we use AirPod ... Pro while listening to audio blended with all form of gestures control n freedom from wired connection.
I think the hyperdrive one would the best option right now for macbook...A bit on the expensive side bt still there's no other appropriate option...

Yes I tried it multiple times...u can access internet without wifi using a LAN cable with this hub...it definitely works fine...
Thanx alot buddy, just 2 days back I bought ipad pro but only wifi variant for pubg streaming but facing ping issue, was looking for a trusty LAN adapter for ipad pro.

Hdmi doesn’t work with many ports playing netflix and amazon prime
Bro even i have tried with Netflix and the reason they don’t work is because of the subscription u have with the ott apps...The app doesn’t let u mirror screen to ur tv from ur ipad aur laptop. Because if they let this happen, people will simply buy the cheapest subscription that is 199 of Netflix and play it on the tv connecting the mobile through hdmi port.
The packs for tv are different and expensive in case of Netflix and prime...otherwise for everything else the hdmi port works absolutely fine!

You don’t need to buy a 7 in 1 usb c…but atleast you will be needing some usb ports…If you don’t need the other ports…you can go for a simple type c to usb converter which is quite cheaper
