All I did was go up on stage like he did ,they took me behind the curtains and pulled a pad off my butt to make it look like I was actually the one doing the smiley face. That part is already recorded. And then I birthed out that thingy with my arms up in the air. And a bunch of standing around awkwardly while they stare at you.
When I went to see them in Chicago, I was with my orchestra. We were there for a competition. I was wearing jeans that were ripped at my knees. As they were walking down the isle, one looked down at my knees, up at me, to each other, and wiped paint from their face and put it on my knee. I then looked over at my mom, who wasn't happy that I was wearing said jeans, and she looked away in utter defeat.

Been a fan of BMG for years and years. Finally saw a show live a few months ago. Just unbelievable. It's not a show. It's an experience that needs to be seen live to truly appreciate it.
I saw The Blue Man Group on Fetch: With Ruff Ruffman. That show was my life for 2 years.

My family and I were in Vegas, we went to see the Blue Man Group, and my dad was chosen to go onstage. They took him backstage, put a jumpsuit on him, dipped him in blue paint, hung him upside down, and swung him into a giant canvas.

I got pulled up onstage with Blue Man Group when they came to my college! It was AMAZING. We weren't even close to the stage... I had gotten tickets for myself & my family as a christmas present (we'd never seen it before) and it was obviously the best show we'd ever seen haha. I had no idea, it was completely random who they picked. I got to sit next to all 3 of them at a table as they competed for my affection... I eventually put on a vest that shot out smushed bananas at the audience. Yep you read that last sentence correctly :) you should go see it if you haven't already! :)

I had the chance to see them live a few years ago, while I was on a field trip with orchestra in Orlanda, FL. It was INCREDIBLE! I'd seen them in video and knew they were amazing, but it is truly a different experience in person. A kid from our group was picked to go behind the stage, where he was then put in a full body jumpsuit, hung by his feet, covered in paint, and pulled back and let go, where he then hit a canvas. They did this multiple times, using different paint splatter colors and location on the suit to give the image a very very unique design.
He then got to take it home! Lucky child.
They're truly a thing to behold!
Which.. now that I continue to watch, is similar to what happened to Link! Awesome! xP
I did that at the sandiego show that happened recently I am going to spoil the magic for you lol I was taken aside before the show and told I was going to be chosen and she gave me a pair of shoes to wear I waited until it was my time they came and chose me brought me onstage put me in a white jumpsuit and helmet brought me backstage but the video wasn't me all they did was take the jumpsuit off put me in a painted jumpsuit and painted shoes then put me in this little cart thing that had a hollowed out jello for my head they brought me out tore open the jello and I pretended like something awesome just happened they handed me the painting but I had to give it back once I walked off stage.

We are one of the only two highschools in my city and both schools went :3 it was very expensve though!

I just broke up with my girlfriend of two years and I have been really bummed about it. I haven't been able to do anything but lay in bed and watch your guys videos. I watched the Blue Man Group on my schooltrip to Berlin >o< If you have the chance to watch, take it! Those guys are awesome! I remember that my friend got asked (before the show) if he want to be in the show. They took him in the front, gave him that jumpsuit (and the helmet), painted his whole body, hung him upside down with a rope and smashed against a big canvas multiple times... I just couldn't stop laughing about the fact that he had no idea what was going on xD

I got to see them live a long while back, think I was in 5th grade or something. They were absolutely amazing, I still remember feeling the electricity in the crowd from the excitement. If they're ever in a town near you or a town you are visiting, I highly suggest going to see them. They're funny and extremely talented. I plan to see them live again someday :)

I went to the blue man group as a kid and my brother asked one of the members to sighn his ticket and he just took it and kissed it, leaving a blue Kiss mark. We still have that ticket. :D

I got selected to go up onstage when they were doing the Rockstar Mega Tour. It was an amazing experience especially when I turned towards the audience and raised my arms. They lit up the entire arena and it was so crazy seeing over 10,000 people cheering for you. Definitely a moment I will never forget.
I got to see them live yesterday an all I could think about was this video and trying not to cry because I'm such a huge fan.

I am jealous of them. Playing everything percussion my whole life from any style on set to everything in marching band in high school to concert band in high school (xylophone, marimba, timpani, etc) the Blue Man Group are some of my idols I guess you could say. Along with Neil Pert, Joey Jordison, & a few others. I would give anything just to see them, let alone pay with them on stage or behind the scenes. I do have to say though, the best that they tried to teach Rhett right in the beginning was very simple but I don't know if that's just me.
