If Luck never retired.... We were going to be a Dynasty.... Chris needs a QB... Always had the roster just never had a Franchise QB... Saying that.... low key... We always beat the Top Teams... Chiefs... Ravens... Bills... 49'ers. Chris won executive of the year... Not easy won.
I dont care. I like Chris. I trust him, I do. But Shane... If I ever HAD to make a large wager on a coach being successful.. I'd bet the house on Shane.
I do to I get tired of hearing everyone blame him for the faults. I will say I wish he'd be more aggressive with free agency, but he has stacked this team with talent for next to nothing. I truly believe the qb carousel we been on was Reich being allowed to make decisions over Ballard. It's not his fault the coaches aren't getting the best out of the talent. Hes not flawless by any means but hes done his job. Yes we missed out on few big players in the free agency but they also cost a lot. Lets see how him and Steichen can build this team. We do have good offense even the backups. Take the TE position none are exceptionally great but they are all pretty good. So if one goes down we will be OK. Our defensive front same none are exceptionally great. BUT all good. So injuries we can still be competitive. The CBS are an issue but something makes all 3 Ballard, steichen and Bradley think they will be OK there so let's wait and see.
I like Ballard he had at least gave us a fighting chance more then he hasn't we've been solid for a long time. That's better than most teams like the Titans,Panthers,Bears etc
The hubris to say “it’s easy to do what everyone else has proven is a winning formula, but I think I’m smarter than the other 31 people that do my job”. This guy is below average as a GM. You are what your record says you are.

The crazy thing is that I don't actually think it's his roster choices that are the problem. The longer he's around, the more I think it's his coaching choices. Remember, Reich(who turned out to be pretty bad) was his SECOND choice. He originally wanted Josh McDaniels and we all know how that ended up. So it took him three times before finding a head coach with potential to win. Not to mention Gus Bradley still being around after two straight seasons of defenses being ranked in the bottom third of points allowed when we have talent like Buck and Grove and Franklin. In this same time frame, every other team in our division has gone from last to first in the division at least once. We haven't won a division title since 2014. 10 years! A change has to be made.
Statistically he has had one of the best draft records in the league, the colts are in the top half of the league in winning percentage over the past 8 seasons. I have some massive issues with Ballard and if AR doesn’t work out he is definitely gone. I’m not stoked about how he handled the DB room this offseason, but to act as if he is a bottom GM in the league is a hyperbolic overreaction. Comparing him to Grigson as if we were better off is ludacris. Go look at the AFC championship roster from 2014. I haven’t see a roster that terrible get to a championship game yet. Grigson’s terrible job was covered by having a healthy Andrew Luck.
You can tell he has too much faith in our young players that he drafted or signed. It’s good to have but he’s got way too much to the point where it hurts us
@robertsteeno6106 We had record setting sack numbers with 51 sacks last year so our pass rush wasn't the problem the secondary was beside Kenny Moore and Blackman the rest are trash
@@taureangabriel7719wow you looked up sacks you must be a genius! Oh just ignore the fact that we fell off in pressure percentages per rush and total pressures. We weren't in the top 10 genius. Maybe do a little bit more research because sacks aren't the end all be all
I can’t believe this guy still settling for a bill an hour approach when literally our secondary is the only missing piece could take us to a Super Bowl. Our other division rivals are winning divisional championship on their own and we’re still stuck at mediocre level.
There's no way we're only a good secondary away from a Super Bowl. Colts are still years away from even possibly getting to the Super Bowl as AR develops and hopefully proves himself worthy enough of even getting us there.

Can't wait for the home opener, got tickets to take my buddy to his first Colts game. Go Colts!
