- In this video I stop by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors just as they are finishing up a 1970 Chevrolet El Camino that was built by Alloway's Hot Rod Shop...Pro Auto Custom Interiors does just about all of Alloway's Hot Rod Shops custom interiors and I always look forward to seeing what they come up with...This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino has all the usual things we expect from a Alloway Hot Rod...Laser straight body covered in mile deep black paint...This El Camino has some dark grey stripes on the hood also....No body mods...Just uniform gaps and crisp straight lines....One off custom wheels that are styled after the original Super Sport wheels from back in the day...Of course they are much bigger than anything the factory offered back in 1970...The first set of these wheels went to Alloway's Hot Rod Shop for this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino....The next set could be yours as now they will be offered to the public...And to bring it all together a all leather custom interior by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors...Bobby isn't into the over the top custom type interiors...He usually request something that looks like it could be stock...Just a lot cooler and of better quality...Steve and the Boys delivered exactly what this build needed....Not crazy...Just cool and clean...Under the cowl inducted hood is a Chevrolet 502 Big Block and some cleaning up from what you would have received from the factory back in 1970...This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino built by Alloway's Hot Rod with a Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interior is clean and cool for sure...I'm sure you will agree...Check it out!!

I fell in love when she cruised down the hill and I heard her rumbling.
lol..Right on!
Wow, that El Camino is just a fine old school hot rod. Those Billet Specialties look really nice and don't hurt the classic appearance. I have never seen such a stock looking interior done at Holcomb's and man it is fascinating. Great engine choice too, I would be disappointed if it had LS under the hood. Nice shoot Scottie
Thank You Brother...Glad You liked it!!
Love it. Simple factory style, executed perfectly. Great to have the ending of the clip as a start-up and drive, engine sound with no silly music. Thank you Scottie from the UK.
Your welcome...Glad you liked it...There is music at the very end??..lol
I just can't get over this one. It won't let me go. lol
Everything is PERFECT, right down to the 1-off wheels.

That is one beautiful El Camino. I had a 1971 El Camino that I put many miles on, my only regret now is that I ordered it with the smaller engine.

I worked with funny car driver Joltin' Joe Jacono in 1970/71. This was his car...jet black, and the rumble just made me feel young again. I'm 72 now, and Joe and I were lifelong friends. I got to drive some great muscle cars.

If I had it! Put black 3 spoke SS steering wheel!!! . Also would redo the whls & tires! Same style wheels: 18's x 10's rear 17"x 8" frt. With BFG's on all 4 rims. PLUS FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS !!! LIKE ELKY!!!

Prolly only 48k built that year
vs
200k+ Coupes.
&
Same stance as my 72’ Elco

(Had t’roll inner fender wells...)
CHEVELLE NATION🇺🇸🔥
Thanks for checking it out!
I have to admit - I miss the El Camino, and when they are turned out like this example. additionally so!
Very cool for sure...Glad You liked it!
what a sexy car
I agree!!
Best year. I don't get why so many builders are into big blocks though. LS is so much better. You can make them look vintage too.
But they are in everything....Bobby is into old school cool and that works for Me....
05:19 music (subtitles) heheheh ❤️🔥👑
Glad You liked it!!
That's I sweet
I agree!!
I hope that my whip will look like this soon because I need help finishing the engine and transmission and some extra cash 💸😢 I have a 72 elco that needs work
Right on...Sounds cool!!
I’m trying to get my an el Camino the very nice ones are very expensive for my price range which is 7k and below because I’m getting it for my first car in highschool I have found a few I like in my price range maybe some day I can get one of the real fancy ones
Right on...Keep Me posted!!!
I wished more attention was talked about the stance and wheel/tire combo sizes.
Alloway doesn’t really give specs on his website
Thanks for checking it out...
How many 70 El Caminos we're made with the ls6 and m22??
No idea...Ask Google?
Sweet truck Scottie loved the motor porn too sounds Healthy !!!! Thanks for posting Brother
Your welcome Mike...Glad You liked it!!
ScottieDTV alwsys Brother
I've got a clean 1972 SS for sale with a 454.. $6500
Cool...Seems like a deal?
Wheel diameter? Tire size? Transmission type? Rear end type and gearing? Good video but not enough detail... I will admit to liking the stance or rake of the suspension, wheels and body and height. El Caminos do look good when lowered, but not too low.
Thanks for checking it out!
I can tell from the video freeze frame that the rear tires are 275 45 20. Fronts look like 235 45 18s but I'm not certain. What I wonder is how did they get the rear end to sit so low with those monster tires and wheels in the rear? Looks fricken fantastic. What are the wheel sizes and front tire sizes Scottie? Cool ride Yo.
And why do you keep looking younger?
Keep it up!
lol..Must be your eyes going Ken....
What wheels are those ?
All I know is in the video...sorry
HELLO, Open the hood. I wanted to see the detailed 502 BBC .
Watch the video...It's in there!
Tengo tu carro de matchbox
Cool!!
i have a 1970 el camino and the bumper in the front of your car is alot diferant then mine is that the origanal one it came with or what? Larry Broad
It's not mine...But that bumper has been tucked and maybe even changed in other ways...
Whats with that steering wheel? Needs an SS wheel
It wasn't done in this video....
Bring back beard,dude ))
lol...Thanks for checking out the video....
You know the story of the first Ford 1958 El Camino? A pig farmer said he needs a truck that looks good to go to Church on Sunday's and can haul his pig's on the weekday's. It went something like that so the invented the Ford El Camino.
Cool..Thanks for checking this Chevrolet out here Brother!
Glad You liked it!!
theve El Camino SS cool rstre tigra timi erer ...
Glad You liked it!!
BBC
Thanks for checking it out!
One advantage of the El Camino, is a half the price, custom interior. LOL
Thats a fair point!!
lol...Not sure that is how it works..
Ya...But I wouldn't expect that...lol
It's a thumper
For sure....
