I love that style of vlog. Really enjoyed that thanks. You got lucky with the weather for sure ! The size of the tent bag surprised me. I am looking at getting the Edoras 500XL but I am hoping it won't be much bigger else there wont be any room for anything (or anyone) else in the car !
Thanks Mike, delighted that you enjoyed it! Yes you are right - the bag is big! We used to be able to get our tent in the back of our car but we can now only fit it on the back seat. Its worth it though! I would imagine the 500XL will be a bigger bag though! I guess you would have to check the dimensions. Have you had an airbeam before?
I have never been camping before so don't currently have any equipment. When I first suggested it to the family (wife + 14 year old) they both said NO but since then I have taken them to 3 different outdoor stores to look at the tents and I think they are warming to the idea now. The Edoras looks super easy to pitch and I would get the porch door to enclose it off. I don't really want to go to the expense of roof rails and box yet which is why I am interested in the overall size of everything :)
Hiya Mark, keep working on them! We love camping cos it does get you away from it all and really resets your body clock. I think you get the best sleep when you are camping. The tent is really easy to pitch but as you have probably already seen the airbeams are generally more expensive than the poled tents. It would be good in a way if you could borrow a tent just to see whether the family takes to the experience before you take the plunge! I hope you decide to go for it though!
