Ok no hate but I just have to say it , unless a child has severe breathing problems or otherwise a special reason they would never anesthetize a child via iv , however they need to be very diligent and have it ready right away because once your under you need iv aces right away, and also for a more complex surgery such as heart you would need to be paralyzed and intubated, no judgment just some tips
