great video, for hemispheric lateralisation and localisation of function could you talk about brocas and wernicke's aphasia in an outline or do you use it for the evaluation in localisation of function?
also, for sperry's research did the information seen on the right visual field still go to the left hemisphere & vice versa, even though the corpus callosum was severed so were no longer linked? Oh, actually I understand, the corpus callosum allows the hemispheres to communicate with one another but when severed it does not allow this but information from one side of the body or visual field is still linked to the opposite hemisphere.
Good question. It could depend on the way the question is worded, but you could describe Broca and Wernicke's aphasia as AO1 (outline) to illustrate how the brain is localised/lateralised, and but use their research (Broca with patient tan + his 8 other patients) as evidence/evaluation.
Your second sentence is correct. The corpus callosum allows the information from each hemisphere to be shared with one another. If this is cut, information from the LVF goes the RH, but is NOT shared with the LH and vice versa).
