Some of the trivia within the stories I did know, but usually I didn't know the ones surrounding the franchise.

Yup. Only two things stumped me; the origins of Ron's & Hermione's names. That was fun.

In everyone’s opinion, what fight scene or battle sequence should the TV show include that the movies never did? The first one I can immediately think of is the Astronomy Tower fight in “Half-Blood Prince”.

    Thoughts while watching....
Besides leaving the trio temporarily in the 7th book, Ron also stood against Harry during the first task of the tri-wizard tournament in the fourth.
That plaque further shows why we shouldn't regard films as canon.
According to the films, Mcgonagall was a teacher 9 years before she was born yet played quidditch on the griffindor team in the 70s.
I knew about the Stephen King quote, and actually used it recently in another feeble attempt to convince my mom to watch the films.
Silly muggle CZcamsr. As any self respecting wizard would know, the Millennium Bridge was completed in 1992. A mass memory charm was used on the worldwide muggle populace to believe it was brand new when it was rebuilt in 2000.

English. A bit hard to discern due to the excessive serifs.

Harry is short for Harold, not another way of saying Henry and yes, I'm from the UK.

@@zoa1-99....... I’m from the UK and actually Harry (as in Prince Harry) is actually called Prince Henry of Wales. So yes, Harry is an alternative to Henry.

I know it's nitpicking, but that quidditch plaque has always bothered me 😠
Not only was Minerva McGonagall already teaching by 1971, but James Potter played chaser, not seeker!
    Today's moan complete...
