I'm so glad the Saber comes in black now. Babyliss dethroned the Andis and now Saber has dethroned the Babyliss. Stylecraft is batting a 1000 right now. I still like Babyliss aesthetic of their clippers and trimmers but for my money I gotta give it to Stylecraft. I can't wait to purchase the Sabers in all black.

i put the gold x pro blade on my evo and my absolute hitter and there both smacking. the old cutting blade was the problem always pulling and getting stuck. the new cutting blade i do trimmer over comb on tight places , balds out closer and faster line up’s are crisp without having to go over it a couple times. the babyliss has this break in period with the x pro blade is banging straight out the box. time is money in this industry you’ll save time with this blade

Im babyliss fan , no other clippers/trimmers can beat fancy design/aesthetics of babyliss. Cool feature with changeable dual battery, yeaa it's price, but every thing in this world that is worth has a high price.Other procuts like JRL , Gamma, has funny desing like space shuttle for the little kids, common dude i can work with thats toys...

Man, I am a gamma+/stylecraft groupie. The only clippers in my every day rotation that aren't from them are my model 10 and I have a corded detailer strictly for balding out. Other than that it's the evo, hitter, ergo, and boosted. I also have the alpha as a backup.
I just pre-order the Sabers. I used your discount and it came out to $169. Not bad in my opinion 👌

I would never pay that much for any trimmer which is the absurd amount for the Babyliss I actually think $179 is pretty steep considering the other trimmers I have purchased from gamma. But I’m liking the xpro gold blade on my hitter. It does a great job sharp hitting without and bitting or irritation. I give the win to the saber as well. Love the video my brother 🔥💪🏼💯

Hi Eddie,I am from the uk so I cannot get hold of the Sabre trimmers yet but I have the evo’s with the p3 eversense blades on,I can got hold of the one blade direct from gamma uk for around £45,do you think this is a better choice than using the p3’s?

The only problem I have is you have to be biased towards stylecraft and Gamma. If you’re not sponsored by them you were definitely involved with them. So it’s hard for me to take your word. I thought you get a good information. You definitely in the back of your head are always rooting for the style craft
You really think he's biased.? Idk...if you really see the pros and cons so you answer for yourself which is better.. honestly babyliss is sleeping on putting USB options on their machines and their blades always loud af..just on those two things alone style craft has it beat Imo.

Only thing I worry about with gamma /stylecraft. Is the durability, everything I buy from them either bogs out, power button breaks, body gets hot, I love there products , but will it last !

Aloha Eddie I like how you compared the trimmers. From what I’m hearing this can compete with the Babylisspro. S|C and Gamma + may take over the trimmer wars with this new release. So far they got the best adjustable clippers the Ergo & Rebel in my opinion. Question does the gold color fade away easily like the mythic(black)?

Coming from a non-barber perspective, it is the saber. I think the snap FX is purely made for a barber. There is no need for a self-cutter to have an extra battery because they don't use the clippers as much as a barber. At least the saber can be useful to a self-cutter.

Since lockdown started I’ve been cutting hair for my friends. I came on CZcams to learn and found it quite easy to learn. Some how I leaned with some old wahl clippers. My problem is understanding what a good clipper is ? What brand is best but not over price. I want to proceed into finer cuts but with these old clippers I can’t.

What is the best, snap fx or boost fx ?
In a more recent review you stated you didn’t know if the baby kiss feature to clean the trimmer better was worth it cause you don’t get much hair in there. But I noticed in this video you popped it off and there was quite a bit of hair.

I have the Babyliss Boosted FX Trimmer and The Saber and I gotta say I like the Saber so much more I may have to get a second one and That means my whole set up will pretty much be Gamma Stylecraft with the exception of the FX3 Trimmer. But still Gamma is putting out quality products

Is there a difference between the gold xpro t outliner blade and the DLC x pro t outliner blade? I've got some hitters I want to put them on but I wonder if there's a difference in the blade?
There are a couple differences. The regular gold FX blade that comes on the Gold FX Pro trimmers are a shorter tooth blade which creates sharper lines easier and gets a slight bit closer to scalp but a little slower going through bulk. The Gold FX 2.0 blade and the DLC are practically the same both having the longer tooth blade which go through bulk much easier just don’t get as close to the scalp and have to go over the line up more times to get same crisp detail as the short tooth gold FX. Hope this was helpful. I have the regular gold FX blade and would recommend always getting that over the other blades.
I have the black xpro blade and its not even better than the ultimate 2.0. The 2.0 balds grest and makes great lines and the black xpro struggles balding bc it always snags on follicles whether on the head or neck. Not sure i wanna try that blade just to have the same issue

Genuinely think what babyliss is doing is the future (no gimmick) but they gotta do 4hrs on each battery and the original gold blade. I understand you gotta evolve product but the gold blade is their top selling blade for a reason. Gamma definitely killing it right now though 💪🏽

Babyliss is 7200 with the same type of motor so im guessing the saber has a bit more power
I wasn't a fan of the Gamma Evo trimmer, just couldn't seem to find the right blade to get sharp lines or debulking because when you would bald out with this trimmer it wasn't smooth on the skin when you would go against the grain. I tried using the Evo with 3 different blades but no luck. I am keen to try these new Saber's however.

Have you tried the original Ultimate Blade with the shallow tooth cutter? I have that on the X EVO and that's the sharpest blade and cuts the smoothest and closest for me

I want the saber the snap fx are too costly.....
I think it's a no-brainer. I believe Babyliss has put so much gimmick into the new bank-breaker that they have taken something tried and true and made it much less appealing. I would never have a primary tool I can't power with a cord if I need to. I do own the Gold FX but even so, I still preferred the Gamma/SC trimmers so I will get a Saber trimmer but I wouldn't even consider the Snap tools unless they make it chargeable and usable with a cord. But then it would probably cost even more, which in my opinion, would make it even less worth it. Gamma/SC for me......for now. LOL

You can find saber (different branding, same trimmer) on ali express for 50% less then what stylecraft is charging. Nonetheless saber is an amazing trimmer!

so from all the hype im hearing, am i to believe that gamma/sc actually made a Trimmer blade that doesnt SUCK?!? ...hummm, after a billion different blade swaps at this point on the evos & the hitters (& the hitters becoming unbearably loud) & after spending way to much money on adapter kits to keep from having to throw these trimmers in the garbage, i remain skeptical... open minded, but skeptical... i HOPE the new blade is good cause i want to see gamma/sc be successful... but... i guess well see... so far they have not proved themselves as consistent as the juggernaut in the industry, wahl... albiet im all for them giving wahl some competition, but for now let em aim for some "lower hanging ftuit" like babyliss & lets see how they do...? always enjoy ur videos man, thank u
They could come out with the perfect trimmer an clipper an someone would complain about something, if you want more power an battery life that's come with weight heat noise I mean a V8 engine is big because it has more power an loud because it has more power it's the same when it comes to clipper an trimmers
