- Hello! I hope you all enjoy this one! This one was a lot of fun! I like to keep the instruments as close to normal as possible but the bassline was impossible to do without some EQ and Compressors to maintain the sustain and get a good bass going.

How long did the undertale ones take to make? These are really good!
Hard to say, for this song I was working on it from when I woke up until I went to bed for around 2 days. Mixing it and writing chords for the strings definantly took the longest amount of time
Is the process of soundfot translation complex? I often wonder what certain songs will sound like in different sound fonts.
It can be, with OOT/MM soundfont it kind of was. It only had probably around 18 actual multi-octave instruments while the rest were ambient sounds or percussions. But really, with a bit of creativity it's pretty fun!

I made a version of this that is compatible with OoTR, but sadly, it's only the beginning on loop similar to how the "My Reaction to that Information" meme has it loop. I'm not that talented in making my own MIDI files, so I had to make do with what I could find online.
I think you should edit this up and make it fully OoTR compatible.

hey! just curious as to what software you use to do this, and where the soundfont can be gotten, because i think i’d like to try my hand at this over break! mainly because i think a Thanatos - ‘If I Can’t Be Yours’ / OOT soundfont mix in the style that you did with ‘It’s Raining Somewhere Else’ would be great
Composing for in-game OOT i use anvilstudio since it saves midi data like automated volumes, panning, etc. However I just use LMMS for the CZcams mixes since it’s an alright DAW, only problem I’ve encountered with it is max pitch bend is 2 half steps but that’s not important.
I’ve heard of people in the oot rom hacking forums using stuff like Reaper & Ableton as well, if you own reaper and get a sf2 bridging VST like sforzando it’ll probably grant a better mix since instead of percentile volumes your working with decibels.
Also the sound font is linked on a G. Doc in the drive link in the description. Along side the link, I posted a website that lists instrument information for the game like percussions maps and stuff like that.

A normal day on the Romani Ranch, Romani runs arround while her sister calls her, as it's getting dark. "Yes, sister..." replies the young kid. On her way home, what was once the Hyrule Castle can be seen, with a big dark cloud above of it, while it gets more in shambles than it was alredy. Cremia has told Romani, numerous times to never head into the castle, as the legends say, some young hero and the former princess lost the battle against the pure evil, Romani having grown into the enviroment Hyrule has now, has gotten used to it for now, so she isn't completly scared of it. She thinks visiting the Hero's grave for clues might be interesting even.
