This movie is fantastic, I watched for my Italian Cinema class and it remains one of my favorite films I have ever seen. There is absolutely nothing like the final scene where Bruno and Antonio disappear into the crowd. Chills (and tears) every time!
I watched this movie for the first time over a decade ago and have seen it a dozen times since. It's one my favourite films and I love the son's performance. He has so much character and eyes that are really engaging.
Bicycle Thieves is one of the titles I was most looking forward for the eventual Blu-ray release. I pre-ordered as soon as it became available on Amazon and have been enjoying it since late March. Thank you Criterion for finally releasing this.

Just saw this last night. Enzo’s performance is so haunting. The most moving performance by a little boy that I think I’ve ever seen.
