I believe you. I play recorder. I mean, how much more complicated are jazz rhythms than those of the Renaissance? I'm not abundantly familiar with modal music, but what I've done has reminded me a lot of favorite jazz keys and modulations.
@@grandma.p It really can be. I play recorder, and actually own a pile of quite decent ones. It gets a bad rep because so many people play it poorly. A favorite saying among recorder players is, "It's easy to learn to play recorder, but it's hard to play it well." These folks are *seriously* good.
