- The fireplace crackles and you lower your book a moment to smell the sweet tang of the firewood and enjoy the peaceful ambience. It’s cozy in this room, and a cat keeps you company, snuggled up close to the fireplace. It may be winter outside but it’s warm indoors.
Your thoughts wander, interrupted by the distant rumble of the thunderstorm. The cat stretches out to its full length, purring in contentment, and you smile at the sight. No manor is complete without a house cat. Opening the book again, you listen to the soft rain and relax, your eyelids growing heavy.

Maybe it's the instinct or unconcious knowledge that nobody would go outside in a storm, so you can lower your guard about potential threats walking around outside your house.

Yes, I like how it actually sounds like the rain and thunder is muffled by the structure and material of the house. A lot of other similar videos tends to make it sound like you're standing OUTSIDE getting soaked and not warm and cozy inside the house.

Back in the day certain boxes of cereal actually came with disc copies of various PC games, one of which was "Clue: Murder at Boddy Mansion." This room and the ambiance it is shrouded in reminds me of that game. Cheers.
This is one of my top 5 ambient soundscapes. This stuff is keeping me alive in the quarantine. No joke. No matter how big or small your home is, you bump up against the rough edges, and this helps so much to smooth them and make existence tolerable until things are better. Hmmm. Are you sure about that...? I see some things that I wouldn't want to be in the middle of here: ghoul sitting in a chair, a young woman with her hands tied together sitting by the fireplace, a skeleton crawling out of a grave, ghosts in the chandelier, block goblin creatures in the chandelier, a ghost like figure at the window, animated party pumpkins in the picture above the fireplace, and a serpert like head with a long red tongue. I'm sure there's more, but I'm convinced it's not the warm welcoming

Looking at this room brings a different feeling. Feeling of warmth and peace. A feeling of home. I imagine this image as the veiwpoint of an old man. Alone at the end of a long day. Enjoying the scilence he calls for his cat but it too is caught by the trance of the warm fire and lays down half way to his old owner. The use of scilence is powerful at times and can help one think. I hope to hoever reads this comment can find a quiet place and reflect.

This is now one of my favorites!
Every now and then I dream myself a cabin located up in the mountains of Wyoming. It has a Master Bedroom, a Master Bath, Living Room, Kitchen/Dining Area and a Library/Office. The rain is falling softly outside, tapping against the window panes. I've got a cup of hot, black coffee sitting on the nearby table, a fire in the fireplace and some of my favorite music playing. Right now, it's "Riviera Paradise" by the late, great Stevie Ray Vaughan. I'm sitting in my recliner. The computer in the Office is off for once and I'm reading a good, old fashioned book about Hobbits, Elves, Dwarves and Magic. I read until the cobwebs fill my head, I put the book down and fall into a gentle sleep.
As sleep comes, a shadow falls over the window. Two curious eyes gaze through the glass. She is a Dryad.
So glad to have the fire on a night like this

Could you loop your videos to 10 or 11 hours ? They are so worth it, but I need to go to other channels to get that long of a loop. I sleep with earphones in my ears, it helps me finding my way back to sleep every time I wake up, which is very often. Maybe others would like the longer loop too. It would be awesome and I be eternally grateful. 🙏🙏🙏

If only there was just a big comfy bed and warm cozy blankets and my cat .. a solid white 7 LB 8.9 oz bundle of precious blessings and joy and so much love .. Incase anyone wanted to know hahaha .... and a window to look out where you can see the rain or snowfall in the distance , not too bright but just be enough to remind u how warm and cozy it is to be able
To be inside and away from the harsh cold world .... and a nice rug with fluffy carpet strands to where if you wanted , you could sit by the fireplace and feel the warmth on your back as you laid out or just sat down to read a good book ... and if the fireplace was closer in view , with some intimate yet simple candle light throughout the tiny but comfortable room , where it was just able To give off or exude more of a coziness to the atmosphere and draw the imagination to envisioning that it’s not that far away , that it’s almost as if we’re right there , wrapped up securely , “safe and sound” as they say , not a care in the world .. and maybe in the distance , an old timey rounded off little mug with a nice hot broth or tea , with the steam rising from it and fading into the nice warm air as we listen to the storm with the comfy bed in close view , from our own little cozy cushiony little chair to curl up in .. maybe even one of those round ones from the 80’s hahah. Those salad bowl chairs ? But with more blankets and down like thick comfy cushioning where if we wanted to we could just curl up and sleep there on a nice fluffy stack of pillows with a few more scattered around on either side of where we’d be all tucked
In or balled up before the cat decided to come and lay down to nap peacefully at our side as the candle and firelight trickled and flickered , illuminating a nice safe, secure cozy cabin , with the side of a long A frame ceiling allowing the glow of the fire to just fill the space with beautiful soft warm light , giving us the ability to doze off as we gazed up at the ceiling and over the walls of the cabin in such beautiful slightly rustic , yet comfortable , decorative appeal as we drift off to sleep with the sounds of only the fire , the rain and light thunder and possibly even of a nice snow storm as well , creating sleet that lightly yet with a tiny little note of hollowness , hits the top of the roof outside , as the warmth of the heat in our safe warm peaceful place allows for just a touch of foggy condensation along the inside corners of the window , as the snow collects along
The outside of the panes , still within our view and Gently reminding us once more , that while it may be dark , cold , wet , almost endlessly a land filled with snow drifts as far as the eye can see , that inside we are at peace , our tummies full , our thirst quenched , our bodies free of pain , our noses filled with the wonderful aroma of the wood burning and an nice nostalgic fragrant smell of our favorite scent , as the candles burn and we are tucked in either on our nice little lounging spot or warm comfy bed of Kashmir , down and memory foam just to the level of support and softness our sleepy bodies desire , tucked in for the night ... not too cold ... not too warm .., just right ... and only the storm .. the snow and / or rain , the fireplace , the candles and of course , our sweet little snuggly cat that stretched his paws and tucks himself right back into a nice little ball of fluff , right at our side , nice and warm ... as we drift off and sleep. .. peacefully ,
Free of pain , with no stress in sight .. only warmth and serenity and safe, cozy sleepy and happy feelings , drifting into dreams so sweet , taking us wherever our hearts long to be.. as we smile and wrap ourselves up in our blankets and sigh a good sigh of a day well done, .. it’s our time to rest now.. all through the night, in solid peaceful slumber ... kept warm and content all through the night...
