Watt brings it every play, no plays off
Myles season stats are 2 games.. TJ has the biggest impact in every game the Steelers win.. TJ shows up when it’s most needed.. Myles is just learning this.. y’all make these fake arguments for Myles..
They run at TJ? You’re definitely biased and not watching the games.. he’s constantly chasing runs down from the backside.. gets one run his way early and he blows it up.. at times he has tackled the qb and rb….. Myles is nasty .. he’s probably the best pure pass rusher .. TJ watt is the best defensive player and the 3rd best player in the league behind Mahomes and Jackson
TJ has played 3 more games in his NFL career than Myles has, so it’s quite close. He only has 1 more sack, but he has 130+ more tackles and 9 more forced fumbles. He’s also intercepted 7 passes (some of which are directly in the trenches, too) compared to Myles having none.
If the Browns truly switch from a 4-3 to a 3-4 this season, Myles might not have the size to remain as dominant as a defensive end. And he doesn’t have the coverage abilities to compete with TJ as an edge rush OLB. I think Myles is certainly more one dimensional. I’d take TJ all day here, regardless of the defensive scheme (3-4, 4-3 4-4, 5-2, etc.)
