Just wearing my EVA Air PJ 🎉 and at my recent flight from VIE-BKK in mid May the amenity kit from Ferragamo was in a hard case 😂 the food was ok, but nothing to write home about... But the star was the service... The EVA ladies were just fantastic! Will fly them definitely again

An upcoming business class round trips in Sep 2023 from New York - Taiwan (15 hours) with EVA. I also love the hard case travel kit and the hard cover menu booklet better. Unfortunately, the COVID hit all of us really hard especially the airliners. It is understandable for the budget control and bounce back. Wish I'll get the Jason Wu PJ as well. It looks comfy.
Personally, I used to fly with CAL and even dated their crews but when it comes to service EVA crews seems better trained and disciplined than CAL.

I really wish EVA would upgrade their 777s. The seats in all classes are really showing their age. Unfortunately, comfort is getting rarer and rarer on their 777s. The 787s are much more comfortable.
I 100% promise you they are working to get them upgraded ASAP. The issue is cost and availability, but they've recognized that this is a major area they can improve on.
Flew them twice long haul a few months ago and I think that that 777 business seat is quite good compared to many other airlines
I disagree with you. Prefer their reverse herringbone setup on their 777 over the seats on their 787. Yes the 777s are getting old but they have aged very well. I flew business class on their 777s from London to Bangkok and I was very happy with the cleanliness and the condition of the cabin and their cabin crew.
I'm flying EVA to London next week, a route I've previously flown with them on the 777. Having recently flown to Taipei on the Dreamliner last October, I agree that it is a significant step up.
I found their long-haul economy configurations on the 777 very comfortable with ample legroom. The one I took on a shorter, 3 hour flight was more cramped but still fine.
I love the old style tablecloth, menus, and dinner ware that EVA air used to have, more sophisticated and iconic looking, I guess it was a cost cutting measure to replace them.

100% agreed on the old Rimowa kits Ricky, miss them a lot. They do have a hard-shell Ferragamo kit that they give out on flights out of TPE which are quite nice but not as cool as the Rimowa ones.

Amazing food for a business class flight. Any idea how their flights that originate in the USA are catered? Pajamas a welcome touch. The ones I got in Singapore Suites have become part of my regular home rotation, and these look better (though less pajama-y).

That looks like a great flight experience. I'm glad they still give pajamas in business class , hardly any others do that. I can't help but call them Eva vs E-V-A😂. My bet is on them vs China Airlines but I would also love to see you fly STARLUX as well. Thanks for another great video.

EVA is one of only two airlines I have been able to get a solid 6-8 hours of sleep in business (funny enough, United old business as well). I'm so excited to take this in March, 15 hours from Toronto.

Always fly Eva LHR to BKK on the 777 300ER. Excellent apart from the IFE - only about 10 films in English. Take your own device with your own films/music. Great overhead storage. You can easily put 2 bags up there and travel carry on baggage only.
Have done the trip 3 times this year, thankfully with no screaming babies/toddlers in business. Hoping for the same next month...
I fly EVA LHR to BKK BC several times a year last time 3 weeks ago and next time tomorrow there are at least 50 films available in English every time I have flown
I myself love the 777 business class seats on Eva, but they are showing their age to which I don’t mind. I have flown on their 787 business class once, and I do have to say I would like them combined. Don’t really like the squareness of the business class, although the color is more favorable

EVA's long haul business class food is now far worse comparing with pre-covid level. Hope they would fix this issue soon.

Great video! Just finished a RTW trip done with Aeroplan points on 5 carriers (EVA, Singapore, Turkish, Lufthansa and Air Canada). For me EVA rated no. 1 in service, and no. 2 in food (Turkish tops for meals). Unfortunately we flew EVA's older 777-300ER's instead of their newer Dreamliners which look nicer and more upscale inside. Quick question: do you know if Air Canada pax flying business on AC BNE-YVR have access to the Air NewZealand lounge there?

I love EVA will be flying them long haul later this year. It will be on a 777 I think will not be quite as nice as the 787
I really enjoyed the Business Class experience with EVA from London to Bangkok. But, the choice on the menu was a little disappointing. For me, anyway. Other than that, very comfortable, great service from start to finish.

I flew EVA Airways just recently. The food was not that great but the fruits were delicious. The flight attendants were very friendly. Smooth Landing. The thing I complain about is the TV Screen. It doesn’t have that many interesting stuff on it tho. Games were somewhat fun but when you play it too much its just makes it boring. Movies aren’t that interesting. But overall EVA Airway is fantastic.
love your videos. can't wait to do some of your stuff one day. but big question please: can you tell me what other greater joys you have had compared to flying business class, getting pampered, and eating good food (can't say excellent because nothing compares to "fresh" food from a fine dining restaurant whether it is a top notch steakhouse, michelin star restaurant, or even just a top notch vegas buffet. Perhaps, a dog, fantastic sex, running a marathon, skydiving, surfing, motorcycle riding, concerts etc? just wondering how all these other joyful things stack up against flying business class. thank you!

Yes indeed, I always pick Eva over China airlines, as I feel china’s service is not good compared to Eva air, which is very hospitable and pleasant.

Hello I usually travel business with Eva but on my last trip from Vancouver to Bangkok, after doing a little investigation, I thought I would try premium economy boy did I make a mistake the flight going and coming? The food was the worst I have ever had on an airline. The service was good to check in with absolutely miserable, my jacket was ruined, because of a sticker that was shoved on meand I will never ever ever ever travel either again, and not only I felt like this was several other passengers in premium economy, who felt the same sorry about this. I am going to write to them and put in a formal complaint.

Thanks for flying EVA Air~ They replace the paper menu by e-menu since pandemic. Compare to other airlines have restore the paper menu back to business class, it's definitely a down grade from EVA Air. I do provide my feedback on this as well (in fact, a few items that I feel get room to improve as their Infinity gold member). Lets see if they do hear this. Thanks for the awesome sharing as the rest :)
2:34 Menus and wine lists are often riddled with mistakes, and I don't recall EVA Air menus containing spelling errors, but here, Laurent-Peppier really caught my attention. It should read Laurent Perrier, with two "r". Other than that, EVA is still impressive and the cabin very modern. I hope to fly them again!

I have gotten upgraded to Eva Air business class three times over the years. Its very nice experience but would I pay $5,000 for it? Nope, I pass!
Well I understand that they are not able to name the "Evergreen Airways," why not just name Eva Airlines or Ever Airlines? Just sounds much better than E.V.A. Air.

This is really awesome. EVA is, in fact, one of the best carriers and they are always under-rated.
Mr Zhang's review here is Business Class and I believe this ranks right up there with Qatar Business.
However, I'm sad about one thing; and that is China's inevitable annexation of Taiwan. In addition to the loss of freedom and democracy for the beautiful Taiwanese people, it will come that the commies will absorb EVA into China Airlines.
Go and fly EVA while you can.

Hello Ian, I am born and raised in Taiwan, but it may come as surprise to you that I am actually looking forward to the ‘annexation’ as you called it, or unification as we call here in Taiwan. As a matter of fact, a substantial percentage of people here in taiwan would like that to happen. This is something you probably rarely read about from western mainstream media.
I would welcome you exploring more outside of the mainstream western media, this is the only way to stop the mainstream media manipulation. 😢

Tight audio editing is a skill that needs to be learned and often takes some practice. When it is too tight, the result is tiring to listen to.
What bothers me is how easy people eat on camera i could never not even for money.
Scallops and proscuitto are actually a very common pairing. I think this guy is attempting to act more knowledgeable about food than he actually is. Money does not a true globetrotter make, apparently.
