From the new state-of-the-art immersive ride Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, to eating the finest treats prepared by Chef Toad at the Toadstool Cafe, these three gamers (well two gamers and a theme park nerd) are ready to play. I’m continually impressed by how immersive theme parks are these days. To the point where even from a higher vantage point, you can’t see anything from the rest of Universal. They really transport you to the land you’re in and that’s crazy. Applause for the innovation!

I love Max doing that little punch in the air after the game like they told him to do in Japan, even if the us team member did’t tell him… I thought that was super cute and adorable in the Japan video and I’m kinda sad that that little team interaction moment didn’t carry on to the American version of the land

Something I think that Disney is missing is the "Entering A New World" moment that Universal has. For example, here you enter a Warp Pipe to enter the land. In Harry Potter you go through the Brick Wall as you enter the land. I think Disney needs to think much harder about this idea. They really missed out on having something like this for Black Spire for Star Wars. Great video Mam Crew! Thanks for the intro to this amazing new land.

Super Mario was such a huge part of my childhood and I still love playing those video games to this day. This park looks so beautiful and the attention to detail is wonderful. I’m beyond excited that it’s finally in the United States so I can visit.

Been waiting for this one! I'm so stoked for Epic Adventure to open in a few years, so it'll only be a 2 hour drive to go. For now, I plan to live this park through Mammoth Club!
As of a couple days ago the banana cones now have their brown tops. They should always be there because I think the water is from the fog machine above the door for the Thwomp! Also, the cardboard model in Bowser’s office was originally sitting out without a cage around it! I guess that only works in Japan…

This video made me incredibly thrilled for Super Nintendo World (like I wasn't already haha)! My husband and I both grew up with a lot of Nintendo games, and it is amazing to see them come to life like this. The color and kinetic energy in this land is amazing!! I just loved seeing so many aspects of it, from the food and merch to the attraction and the game-ification of the land! It brought me so much joy to see y'all so genuinely excited about this land! Thank you!! (Side note: I love how you commented that Peach is for anyone. In our family, my husband is ALWAYS Peach. I never even get a chance to play as Peach...haha.)

The excitement of you all is fantastic. I've scheduled an extra day at Universal on our trip, so we can go to Nintendo World.
If you intend to try every sidegame and MarioKart at SNW, set aside at least 4 hours. If you want to eat at Toadstool Cafe, add another 1.5-2 hours.

Nostalgia overload
I had this on (the smart TV, woo!) while my four year old son was playing MarioKart on my phone. The next day he asked me to play the video again because it was “super cool and fun.” I wasn’t even sure he was watching it because of the game. ;) :)
I have grown up with Mario as well so I will probably be on emotional roller coaster too whenever I get to see it (hopefully someday). Really hope this comes to Orlando & I hope it’s just as amazing or even better!

Your reactions to UHS food is SO validating. I'm convinced now that Universal in Orlando has much better food, bc every time you go you say the foods pretty good and I'm like, it CAN'T be the same as Hollywood bc it's WAY overpriced and SUCKS!

I grew up playing Pong... it was all that was out there, it kept me busy for a bit but I found it boring after a while and never got into video games, so I have no idea what this madness is you are in but it looks really cute and I can see kids having a great time in there.

The power up band is an amiibo - it also syncs to your Nintendo Switch account 😊😊
I heard that the wrist bands are also amiibos so you can transfer the coins you collect in the park over into mario kart on the switch
I’m not a gamer so this land to me is just ok. It’s not high on my “must visit” list but glad you all had fun.
