If ever there is going to be a CZcams Hall of Fame, this man should rightfully be one of the first inductees. Only people who have watched him since mid 2000s will know how big and inspiring this man was and continues to be.
So glad to re-find killrbuckeye youtube. And see he still shreds since i first watched him play six when i was back in high school.

I think there are probably elements common to all of my favorite metalcore bands in this song! I wrote many of these riffs back in 2011, so it is influenced by all the stuff I was listening to at the time. The verse riff at 0:56 was actually written by Finn. The original verse riff I had there definitely had an early BFMV vibe to it.

Coming from a guitarist for over 10 years, these are some impressive riffs. I dig the melodies in every section!! Complex but also simple.

I was honestly lost in nostalgia for a few minutes, but this song was masterfully written, dude! Now that it's over and I'm reflecting on it, really just absolute cream-of-the-crop metalcore songwriting

Arrival and The Rising are the reasons I kept playing guitar. I had a long break after moving to foreign country and working, I finally bought new guitar & interface I'm going to learn these 2 songs! Probably will take forever but these are one of my favourites guitar compositions ! Glad you are back ! :)

Just wanna say you were an absolutely huge influence to me and my other 3-4 musician friends, Your covers were our go to any time we could. And were all based out of columbus so that made it so much cooler to us. Were all grown ass men now, a couple of us still play and i can with 100% certainty we wouldn't be the musicians we are today without your videos.
