Looks good except for the fact it's not tied to the ground.no footings it may settle.a building starts in the ground.if it's not you will have trouble.
My 3 bedroom home is 24x40 . We had 7 people in it while kids were growing up.
good thing it wasn't a windy day, standing those 40' walls with no bracing?, you asking for trouble.
I'd have sent this crew home !!!
My folks had a Jim Walters 2 bedroom home built and my grandfather was a retired master carpenter! After the construction crew would leave in the evening he would come in and fix what they screwed up! He build our birch kitchen cabinets! We also built a matching size on the opposite end which was a master bedroom and utility room! Beautiful Oak hardwood floors! Then my mom's best friend and her husband bought an acre an acre apart from our and had the same floor plan build but facing opposite!
Cheap is what they wanted and cheap is what they got.
Well now I understand how houses can float away in big floods.
How do you know there in a flood plain .
This takes "cheap" to a whole new level
I want one 20 wide by 80 foot long. That width can't go down the highway. That would be my forever home in AR.
I didn't know there were companies that offered site-built versions of these.
Easy enough to add windows once you frame out the interior and figure out your layout I suppose.
Good teamwork there!
Thanks you! We appreciate you watching.
hi, very nice work well done and moreover not talk for nothing say only work, work, work, and moreover at axcelerer speed, that's what people want to see work and not useless talk, once again video very well done and quickly done, bravo, bravo, bravo.
You got some haters in your comments. So where’s all your fantastic builds haters? I’m sure there’s videos on this platform since their so great and all😅
There are lots and lots of videos of quality construction. This is a shed. It is reasonable for a shed. There’s generally a difference between a shed and a house whether you understand or not, and regardless of whether someone points you to a specific video to show you. It’s just called education. Whether you have some or not doesn’t change whether it exists.
These vatos are bad ass
Wow ... how organized would you have to be !!! amazing work
Awesome 😊!
Thanks for watching!
Nice! Good job
Thank you! Would you consider living in a shed to home conversion yourself? If so, what attracts you to the idea?
I'm pretty sure i put more thought and care into the chicken coop i built
a good way to skip a stupid 30-year mortgage!!!
Absolutely! So many people are going this route to save money.
Esos cimientos están bien buenos. 😵💫
Overall it is great. personally I think it needs more windows.
Cool
Thank you!
the migo crew!
Beautiful job boys, that's team players if ever I seen any.
Thank you! They do great work, and have perfected team work.
In the UK we call that a big shed, it's not really a TINY house, but the If I had very little money and nowhere to live, I would be more than happy to live in this. It's not in 'Hurricane Alley' is it?
TX very much has hurricanes and tornadoes. Some parts more than others but the state most definitely.
Lots of other smaller factors as well. But as you say, this might be what it takes to get inside.
What's the total cost for this?
congrats, you build a barge on a dry dock. now when there's a flood this shed will be sailing.....⛵⛵⛵⛵
This video is a perfect example on how not to build a building- I'm glad they didn't build something for me after seeing this footage. Everything they touched was wrong right from the beginning and it just got worse.
I agree
I was thinking the same thing,
Just a building for my dog kennel bud not a house. 😂
@@ETXBulls Yeah I guess someone that keeps stupid dog breeds is going to give me advice.....
Aren't you supposed to put the warped side up so the weight of the building will straighten it out???
It looked like they were checking for crown, or do you think they were crowning down?
Didn’t glue the subfloor- chintzy
Im no building expert - i just saw 1 side of the building frame tip over - the back left sude that doesnt have those concrete supports
How much is something like this?
Really amazing.
Thank you for watching! Would you consider living in a shed-to-home conversion?
@AtlasBackyardSheds Absolutely. Educating myself for wheen the time comes. What state do you work in?
@QAsession Awesome! Love to hear it. We have seen people do incredible things when converting these into homes. We are in Texas.
@AtlasBackyardSheds I have noticed that Texas is tiny home friendly. 😏
I will check out your site.
Finding a good piece of land is my challenge . Lots of legwork to do.
Is there anything you would like to see in future videos?
Been nice if you would have shown the inside after completed before the end of the video
That building will last for 5s of years.
I need these guys to come build my tiny house. 😂
They really used pavers to make the piers. I wouldn’t pass inspection for a porch
It’s tx with no building codes. Lots of things in the build aren’t to code.
How many days did this take?
This was built in one day - in less than 8 hours.
@@AtlasBackyardSheds yeah and it shows
Looks like a group of guys who are having good day . We don't need Karen's
One exterior door, two small windows, and no hurricane strapping whatsoever. 🥴
boorah Brother nice job
How many hours?
Nie chciałbym mieszkać w domu, w którym są tylko dwa okna. Strasznie to ponuro wygląda.
Talk about almost zero windows! I'm sure that is something the owner requested. Exterior looks good though.
How much for28xx40
How much did this cost?
I don't see jacks on the windows
I could make a nice home out of this. More windows etc...
It’s a shed.
It could be made into a home if built in a place where there are no building codes.
It could never be made into a nice home. Fatal flaws in the bones.
Did all that assembly work and didn't build steps to use to get in the house????
Slow the speed down. It took 2 days
"Фундамент" просто пипец...
Is it normal to have "spare" trusses?
Didn’t need all of them due to only part is vaulted went in 11ft instead of my original plan of 10ft
Nice but not enough windows.
Tiny house where?
Only in Texas where there are no building codes.
Lots of short cuts that would not be good for a home.
🖐🖐🖐🖐🖐🖐🖐🖐
Thanks!!
To bed you can't do that in florida
Damm good Job
Thank you! We appreciate you taking the time to watch.
OMG horrible that floor will torque
Just a dog kennel.
Well you didn’t spend a fortune on windows. 16x40 with only two windows? That’s gonna be dark!
С самого начала не правельно стали делать.👎
People will pay for that kind of a build get what they pay for that's the problem 😮😂
I WILL BUILD SAME THING LIKEIT , BUT I WILL CONCRETE MI PIERS , SPEND
FUW MORE DOLLARS , AN D SLEEP BETTER.
Now people will know who not to hire
woulda been cheaper just to poor a 16X40 concrete slab
These are the worst footings I've ever seen! 😱. At 06:03 that corner is missing a footing 😱
It is a shed build. The give away is the two skids which make it movable and reduce many building codes.
I guess if you want to run plumbing someone’s gonna spend a lot of time digging on thier belly underneath that
Это обычный сарай 🤷♂️🤦♂️
You Gotta be Kidding Me….Were these workers picked up at Home Depot ?🤦♂️
Much for20x40
16x40 doesn't seem tiny at all
16 x 40 is NOT a tiny house. Inner city side by side duplexes are often similar sizes.
What the hell is that?!
Not a green card amongst the 48 people that will live there....
Will be a dog kennel bud 😂
@@ETXBulls so, it'll smell better, gotcha!
Racist
Literally the sketchiest build I have ever seen. You didn’t even concrete in the foundations. I guess you don’t have building regulations in your area ☹️
You don't need concrete foundations outside the frozen tundra of the north and Midwest areas. Those look like Misquite trees so this would be Texas. Aside from that you know that there is a type of building called "pier and beam" right? People build cinder block wall to close in the bottom of their house.
@@yourmomsdildo3938 Just typical dodgy American building methods. This is why your houses fall to pieces so quickly.
It is basically a shed on skids lifted off the ground.
Loads of people on here building houses like this just floating on brick or cinder block and no solid concrete foundations.
@@ThinkCriticallyNow I'm sure you're quite the Bob the builder. We got cabins built from the 1800s just hanging out on stones. If you'd build a monarchy like you build a building you might have won the war on your own.
That’s a joke
Just a dog kennel bud
Do not build anything again please. Absolutely unsafe for human occupation. Be ashamed to post a death trap like this. The workers had to know better.
Waste of lumber
No all people are able to afford luxurious houses dont knock them for trying . Mobile homes are becoming unaffordable for a lot of people .
lol that some redecks country building. that dont look stable.
Just a dog kennel bud grow up.
Texas.
No building codes.
Mexicans building...
Just a dog kennel grow up.
Basically.
When we go to Mexico to build, the city doesn’t want us to bother them with permits, because they know that even if we don’t get it perfect, we will at least be shooting for meeting the building code.
In this case, they aren’t even trying. The owner is dismissive of the building code concerns, because it’s only a dog kennel, apparently oblivious to the fact that in any other state even a dog kennel is expected to basic building requirements. Even a shed this size needs them. Not in Texas. Or Mexico.
Is this a joke?
Just a dog kennel grow up.
I would be afraid to store my lawnmower in that.
That crew is worthless that is horrible I mean horribly built it is disgustingly bad.
Looks a group of guys have agood time .we don't need Karen's
Colour scheme is gross! Just sayin',... otherwise, impressive job guys!
Nice work guys. 👍👍👍
Thank you very much!!
