    John Wooden did not like the slam dunk.

    I play for a jr. College in 1977 I could do it but only seen 5 that season.

    It takes a hell of a lot more skill to make a three than it does to dunk.

      I don’t agree. As a complete amateur, I’ve been able to make an occasional 3 throughout my life. I’ve never been able to dunk.

      @@TNMJAD You just have to be able to jump high enough to dunk. You have to do several things right to make threes.

      Agreed,, long range shooting requires more skill than dunking. If you are tall enough it's almost impossible not to be able to dunk.
