    Highly recommend looking into Joel's other builds. If you're into vintage JDM. He's a really nice guy and literally builds all of his vehicles in his backyard. He is a true gearhead. Keep up the good work, Joel. Thanks AutotopiaLA for giving Joel some love.

    Back in the day Filipinos started customizing willys after u.s. g.i.'s left the jeeps in the bases here in the philippines. Filipinos changed the bodies to stainless because some are all rusted out. Some for family use and some for passenger ones, they stretched it out and thats how passenger "jeepneys" are born.

Hope you guys can build many to compete with the popular golf carts or club cars. More power. Hope you guys build a full size Chariot Jeepney popularized in Cebu.

With varying heights and style. Some with the original body and other custom copy builds of the same fashion. Twas also the entry level car for a lot of teenage drivers. Usually donning a Toyota 4k engine. This one though is a pretty refined version, and very well suited up.

      This is a completely different build with completely different goals and ideas from the supercharged LSX Willy’s. Also was not built or owed by Cletus.

    Only thing that I would maybe change is some after market parts for the engine and definitely change the seats to add some harnesses.

    • @AutotopiaLA
      @AutotopiaLA  Před 5 lety +1

      Wyatt Fortune harnesses would be really nice and probably a full cage to give more security and chassis support

    I think this might be the first time I noticed that you seem nervous. No seat belt, and the seat not really holding you in the Jepp.

      @AutotopiaLA  Před 5 lety

      Welcome To The Madness just a little. Plus the passenger seat bracket is broken so the seat moves. And no doors. Sketchy, nervous and fun!

  • @GorillaCookies

    Scary considering the lack of protection and restraints. Nothing like getting ejected onto asphalt head first or taking a bumper to the body while getting run over top of during a collision .....I can appreciate the power but the welds looked scary as hell on the front suspension to say the least. That front suspension is going to come apart from the frame due to those horrible blotch glob death welds sooner rather than later from the beating that suspension takes being slammed like that.

    • @AutotopiaLA
      @AutotopiaLA  Před 4 lety

      That’s why I was holding the cage the entire time...scary!
