Holy Fisties! I’m new to stamping and I had no idea inks were different. I used to make water absorbent coasters and I always used the StazOn. Not for any other reason except, it’s what I bought based on it’s name. It works great with resin also. Now my head is reeling. Good thing I took notes during your tutorial. I can make myself a chart. I love your teaching technique. Clear, precise, easy to follow and your voice is calming. Not to sound rude, but other CZcamsrs carry on and on about nothing and though I do appreciate personality and some conversation, I hate waiting 5-plus minutes into the video to start the reason why I’m watching it in the first place. I enjoyed your side commentary, appreciate your personality, you gave specific reasons for your opinions, and you were open to others input. In other words you didn’t feel your opinion was the holy grail. Thank you so very much for this very informative tutorial. You have a new subscriber. I can’t wait to learn more from you.

I work from home so one my down time I've been pulling out crafting stuff and found all my inks were not salvageable and my black looked more like purple! Anyway, thanks for this it was just what I needed. Blessings!

I've never really found a single source who could clarify so beautifully! Speaking of 'blooming' YOU are blooming amazing doll! Honestly. I'll still need to review this show-n-telling of AAALL things Inky, for I'm just tickled to pieces very nearly!
The multiple videos I've watched are great. I'd begun considering my learning curve was extra curvy... Ya know some of we the peoples are natural born Teachers, in such a way whereby their Students may easily grasp & not become confused nor frustrated.
I'm excited to view, take in aaall Your Expertise, experience in the gorg field of these our PaperArts!
Did you used to love, back in school when we did those 'outlines'? Ya know the ones... Where you'd have a capital 'A, B, C...' then underneath like a Roman number I, and then a little 'a, b, c...' followed by the '1, 2, 3's...' of it all? I lovedLOVEDloved doing those! It just gave me what felt like a superpower of some sorta belonging in this world! Isn't that crazy. SO funny!
And again, at just over eight minutes into Your Informative Demo I just get the sneakin suspicion You very well 'MayMay' have! Thanking You!

~ ~ I also learned (from my Mom) about storing my stamps upside down to keep the ink at the top of the pad and I've done this for years. I've never heard many comments about this, nor have I heard any of the "experts" ever mention it. It seems to make sense to me.

Thank you for this video. Helped understand the Distress/Oxide ink differences! I use StaZon ink quite often, and on cardstock generally I emboss with clear. I clean the stamps with StaZon stamp cleaner that is very good! It might leave a stain sometimes depending on the clear stamp - which actually can be useful as some clear stamps ARE clear and you can’t really see them when on the blocks or in my stamping platform. The cleaner is great if you use StaZon a lot as it clings to stamps making some of the finer lines less clear/clean and the cleaner stops this! Even when you forget to clean your stamp at once and have put it away for a year....! Btw yes the almond smell is wonderful! Takes me bake to my childhood at school. I’m. 66. In our junior school we had small pots like a yogurt pot of thick almost solid white glue with a spatula. I think it was Stephen’s? It was even stronger almond scented and many of us children would eat it! Not good! Probably caused Lord knows what ! Perhaps that’s why I love Amaretto?!

I've never had a problem with my stamps staining or discoloring. Most of the time I use the actual bottle to clean my stamps. Mine have a scrubby under the cap of the bottle. Works great.

Thanks for the video! You could try using another solvent to clean your stamps of this ink (like turpentine, WD40, engine dedegreser etc) but double check the material of your stamp & check which solvent will not damage your stamp :-) I've used these solvents for getting old marker off my windows/walls in my camper van, getting rid of very tough grease around my oven/walls around the oven etc & for dissolving glue where it's not wanted (I used turps to wipe off the residual glue from wine labels on wine bottles when I do home brews aswell! :-)
