Yes, it's similar to injuries in the way that you're given a # week as a benchmark, but the reality is much more grey than that. And of course no one should ever go from 0 to fully back in to any kind of exercise, whether that's post-injury or postpartum! Thinking of all the mamas navigating that 🙏

Just wanted to comment thank you so much for posting I’m 3m pp with my first baby and you showing how much you pumped in the beginning made me feel so much better about the amount I produce. I also really loved that you showed yourself getting out and about. It’s definitely been hard for me to make myself get ready and out of the house most days and it watching your video made it feel less daunting

just found your channel - i have an 18 month old :) i can't believe you guys have a proper 6 week checkup over there! in australia we had nothing, and i had PPD symptoms that my doctor said was just hormones - 2 months later. amelia is so freaking cute, congratulations :)

You at your doctors appointment reminded me of my first gyno appointment and I got fully undressed then realized they gave me a sheet just like that one and I tried to put it on like a towel 😂 I called my mom and she hysterically laughed for about 5 minutes straight.

Try pumping for 25-30 minutes!! I was only pumping 10-15 min at a time and was only getting a couple ounces. I tried pumping for 30 minutes and have getting 6+ ounces since and I’m 5 weeks PP!

I know this is super random, but it’s so encouraging as the mom of a 2 year old that you still give James a nookie. I feel like there’s so much pressure to ween him off of it but he loves it and it’s comforting to him so I don’t want to take it from him yet. Loved seeing your face on my screen again, I’m about to have my second baby too!❤

Hi! What kind of SUV do you have?! I’m newly post partum and in the market for an SUV
I counted my 3 year old sons trucks and cars and he has 96. I am shook others just kept buying them lol. I feel you a car or truck is every where. lol
They say 9 months in and 9 months out. That’s how long it took us to grow the baby and that’s how long it takes to bounce back. (Sometimes longer and that’s okay) we have to give ourselves some grace. 🤍
