Rowan needs to have his own Food Vlog. He is eloquent, good looking, smart and can express himself really good and can describe the food he is eating very clearly. I’ve been watching your vlog since you moved to BGC.
i 100% agree..
Do you mean Rowan or Kasen? Kasen is the older one, he usually does the food reviews with me. Rowan is our Bunso and he’s usually our bloopers guy 🤭
Absolutely
I envy that kid's communication skills... even at his very young age... he's already oozing out good blogger qualities.
OMG! With all the food you guys are eating I got so hungry! Everything looks so amazing!
Thank you 😋 I get hungry too while I’m editing these!
I just wanted to congratulate your son! He is really a good blogger like mom! 😊👍🏽
Thank you so much!
Excellent job in pronouncing those hard to say tagalog words. I totally agree with the winner of the food challenge. Kare kare is one of my favorites . My Mexican wife cooks killer Kare Kare and other Filipino food.
MS . CRISTINA , BUNSO' S CHICKEN COSTUME IS SO HILARIOUS 😅🤣😂 BUT I LOVE ! LOVE !! LOVE !!! IT . ❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭👍👋✌️
It is hilarious! He loves wearing it, even though he’s very hot inside 🤭 thankfully he carries his little fan in there to keep him a bit cool.
Congrats Christina 👏, finally you've conquered bagoong. But do you know that bagoong (shrimp paste) are prepared differently from province to province. Like in Zamboanga City, we call it Bogon. It is cooked with coconut milk and some add a piece of pork meat in it. A must try 😂
Oooh that sounds very interesting! We’ve got a few ideas for some ideas coming bagoong content. Stay tuned 😋
sarap naman po wow i love it bunso is so funny
Kare kare is my favorite too with lots of rice yummy
So good! Gotta add that bagoong too 😊
What a smart boy you have guys..❤❤❤❤
Your son should be a food critic.
He would love to do it professionally!
No skipping though not commenting...just enjoy guys...
thank you so much!
Kuya is very insightful. Such an old soul. You can tell he's brought up well, bunso too. "I'm about to cross the road as a chicken." Hahaha😅
Well said!
Awesome video! Love this!
Thanks so much!
Everytime I was in the west or east coast, luckily I always got to eat silog meals as there are quite a number of Filipino eateries and diners that serve good ol' home cooking. Of course, I do indulge in American cuisine a lot whenever I'm there, courtesy of friends and acquaintances, but since I'm Filipino, nothing beats having silog on home ground.
It’s pretty awesome to have the option for both! I was really pleased with the quality and selection at Denny’s 😁
@@LLVT Yes. Denny's is a good choice. Since you guys also like Manam, their silog meals are also great-tasting. Goodah in Timog, QC and Tapa King at the 2nd floor of RCBC, BGC also offer tasty silog meals, the latter having larger servings, should these be preferred.
I miss Denny's breakfast in the Philippines so much, I stayed in condo in eastwood with just Dennys below. A very quick breakfast and a takeaway before going to school since the traffic un the from eastwood going to Katipunan is too crazy.
Thanks for sharing!
03:46 Trifate Lifestyle boys are the same haha. Isaac's favorite Bangus, while Tyler Pork Barbecue.. and they were almost non rice eaters even and now things reversed.
Ha! That’s interesting, thank you for sharing 😁
Thank you for the lovely video.

Yummy Breakfast 😋 😋 😋

I would actually consider eating at Dennys in the Philippines. Never in the US.
😂 they are quite different! I don’t even remember the last time I had Denny’s back in California.
You're Definitely a FILIPINA now.👍🏼🇵🇭💯
Wow thanks!
Kare Kare super sarap, good you had the bagoong... Thats why Pinoys eat a lot of rice...
So good!
Hey guys! Nice to have dropped by your channel. Enjoy and Godbless! By the way do you know MomDuty? They are my friends too. 😊
Hi! Thank you so much for watching we are glad to have you as a viewer/subscriber ❤️ We do know the Ocampo Family, they just moved back to BGC and we are looking forward to seeing them around town soon.
SILOG is a literally shortened word for Sinangag(fried rice) and itlog (egg)
ULAM has no direct English translation but it is anything you eat with rice. Even soy sauce or salt can be called ulam if that is the only thing you will eat with rice.
Now you mix it with other ulam and you form another Filipino food vocabulary
Tapa (dried or cured beef) + silog = Tapsilog
Hotdog + silog = Hotsilog
Bangus + silog = Bangsilog
Spam + silog = Spamsilog
Tocino + silog = Tocilog
Pork chop + silog = Porksilog
Fried Chicked + silog + Chicsilog
And many more
ulam in english is viand
Wow thanks for sharing info!
Silogs are the msinstreams but each Philippjne region has it's own breakfast. It depends on what is abundant in region.
Mine in the highlands of the north consist of some rice, sauteed green leafy vegetables added or topoed with some fish or meat and some fruit.
In the older days (grand pa's favorite breakfast).
It can be boiled sweet potatoes dipped on cooked sugar cane juice and washed down with traditionally processed coffee (not decafinated) which makes him "fired up for work".
Thanks for the info!
I’m hungry now! Love all that food! Philippines is amazing! We’ll be there for Christmas and New Year’s! LETS GO!🎉🎉🎉
Wow! That's exciting. Hopefully you guys enjoy the holidays here.
@@LLVT Thanks! We fly out in a few weeks! We will check on our Beach Hotel we are building in Cagayan De Oro City! Excited! Happy holidays!
Your buko pie reminds me home in Iloilo City 🤤 we've the famous Palang's buko pie gosh 😋 I can proudly say Ilonggo cuisine is also the best❤ craving here in Belgium 😂
It was so good! Thank you so much for watching 😄
Me too, i would rather have a silog than a typical Denny's breakfast which I only crave once in a while. 👍
You and me both!
Bangus over bacon. Oh yes indeed!❤
So good right?!
Bangus or Fish Milk is very delicious and also very thorny. My mom's favorite fish. Filipino Breakfast makes me skip Lunch but can't skip Filipino Merienda in mid afternoon or we call Siesta time almost with the same European tradition that all stores are closes between those times.
Thanks for watching! We always try to order boneless bangus if possible… those tiny bones are so frustrating 😋
The ocampo of mom duty is Filipino Mexican family you can Collab with them and I think your son are same age with the ocampo
I still eat bacon n egg w/ my pilipino garlic fried rice w/ side of fried Tuyo so that's American n pilipino breakfast
👍👍👍
Thank you!
❤❤❤
i prefer apple pie since buko has such a mild flavor
first time to see gata on buko pie. makes sense to amp up the coconut flavor.
Oh yes! Adding the coconut cream really elevates the flavor.
You should do a collab with Momduty.
Maybe silog comes form the Sinigang na kanin(Fried Rice) and itlog(egg) = Si + log. It's like the basic ingredient to most Filipino breakfast.
It does! So sarap 😊
The bangsilog makes me hungry. Also extra crispy bacon on the side 😅
It always makes me hungry too! I know what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow 😋
This is spot on. I'm as Filipino as Andres Bonifacio can be but American breakfast will win almost everytime if the line up is fluffy pancakes, hash brown, scrambled egg and a very good sausage or ham or minimum of 4 pcs of bacon. Take any one out, it's a Filipino breakfast for me. For Filipino, it's always garlic rice, scrambled egg and hashed corned beef for me. Simple sautéed corned beef is ok but I hashed hits the spot.
As for lunch, no matter how good a burger is, it will always lose out to a Filipino lunch made of rice and one dish. For Filipinos, burger is just a snack. After eating it, we will still salivate for rice.
Dessert, it's a tie. Both cultures have great desserts. Depends on your craving that day.
It could’ve been a potential tie… but my poor Kasen was too full to give dessert a chance!
It is so true Christina, working in the west is so stressful that when you come home you want to spend your spare time to yourself. You do not want to hear complaints from your children/husband so you try to entertain yourself by either watching TV, talking to your friend on the phone or anything that will take your mind off work while the kids have to entertain themselves with the TV or any gadgets you buy so they do not bother you and complain of being bored. Not much family interaction except during vacation when you have no worries about work which is every 6 months if you can afford but for regular earning Americans it is yearly vacation. For the whole year, it is all about work, not much family interaction or avoiding family interaction because as it is it is all about complaining of work and every adult try to avoid talking about their issues, the other partner does not want to hear your problem from work because they have their own too, possibly the reason why divorce is very common in the States. American lawmakers should allow families to have a vacation every 3 months, that will probably improve the divorce rate in America which will be very expensive..LOL...
I understand. We've been through that lifestyle. It wasn't sustainable for us. We really want to focus on family matters more than anything else.
Got 😋 hungry ..here usually breakfast egg n bread w/cheese honey or jam or peanuts ; olives daily thats why I don’t eat breakfast anymore😞just warm water and sometimes apple n oranges
Thanks for sharing!!
😢🎄🧒🏻 Philippines children continues to live in the North cemetery.Lets join together and install a bathroom for Christmas. For the children.
You guys should collaborate with momduty youtubers
I miss Filipino breakfast. Yummy 😊.
So good!!
I prefer the Pinoy breakfast. Or Asian breakfast with Rice! More energy for a day ! American breakfast is a dessert or snack. if I eat that in d morning , american breakfast , I go hungry before 12:00 pm , no energy left just d fat of butter in my body .
Rice is the best!
Hi kuya
Hello there!
Can't eat Kare-kare w/o bagoong or alamang,
🙌🏼 it’s definitely a must add condiment!
I’ll bet you had Rice Crispiest
I notice every time I go back home their American food doesn’t taste the same as in the US. Does Dennys taste the same? Kare Kare is only good for me when it has Beef Tripe
It's been a while since we've been to Dennys in US. Nothing weird tasting from what we recently ate that was super different and noticeable.
I'd still prefer bacon over bangus 🤭
🤭
i don't know but it seems like your son don't really like doing blogging and he was only forced. haha
the purpose why Filipino breakfast have garlic rice or SINANGAG bec the rice that use for sinangag is the leftover of last suffer or dinner, recycle it to consume.
thanks for sharing! That's what I do as well sometimes. but other times I just use freshly cooked rice.
I love you mother Iam single po tc po God bless you po
Thank you so much
I miss Denny's breakfast in the Philippines so much, I stayed in condo in eastwood with just Dennys below. A very quick breakfast and a takeaway before going to school since the traffic un the from eastwood going to Katipunan is too crazy.
yeah that seems super convenient!
