- With sun shining and temperatures around -7 degrees Celsius, members of the Saugeen Shores Lifesaving Club (SSLC) donned their bathing suits and bravely plunged into frigid Lake Huron for their eighth annual Polar Bear Dip February 17.

I would not do this I would get pneumonia
No, you wouldn't. Pneumonia is a bacterial infection of the lungs. Just being cold do NOT make you sick.
@@javiermoretti1825 Thank you! I've got two women from Argentina in my house that think I'm going to get pneumonia every time I work up a sweat outside in the winter. No amount of what you just said will dislodge this old wives' tale from their gray matter. I'm thinking they may need an MRI to see if there actually is any.
