- Welcome to this beach tour of Caló des Moro!
Located 6 kilometres from Santanyi in the south east corner of Mallorca, this beach is an absolute gem! It is small, so getting to the beach early to stake a claim of it's limited but sparkling white sand would be worth your while. The descent to the beach can be tricky to navigate, but it is certainly worth the effort when you take a swim or snorkel in the beaches' crystal clear water. This year there was a vendor near the top of the path leading down to the beach selling cool drinks and beer.
Caló des Moro is also a stone's throw from the dazzling Cala S'almunia, so if you find there's limited space on Caló des Moro, you could always visit Cala S'almunia instead.

Ubicada a 6 kilómetros de Santanyi en la esquina sureste de Mallorca, ¡esta playa es una auténtica joya! Es pequeña, por lo que vale la pena llegar temprano a la playa para reclamar su limitada pero brillante arena blanca. El descenso a la playa puede ser complicado de navegar, pero sin duda vale la pena el esfuerzo cuando nadas o haces snorkel en las aguas cristalinas de las playas. Este año había un vendedor cerca de la parte superior del camino que bajaba a la playa vendiendo refrescos y cerveza.
Caló des Moro también está a tiro de piedra de la deslumbrante Cala S'almunia, por lo que si encuentra que el espacio es limitado en Caló des Moro, siempre puede visitar Cala S'almunia.

The modern-day crowds at Calo des Moro would have been considered grossly overdressed by the standards of the 1980's. Back then Calo des Moro was very much a 'clothes optional' haven; a majority of people were contentedly nude ( myself included ) and I don't believe I ever met a woman there, in three years of visits, who wasn't at least topless.
4k...??? Try removing the cling film from the lens...!
That's a fair comment. The reason the quality is lacking 4k crispness is it is actually filmed in 2.7K and then exported in 4K. This is because I'm using the GoPro mod lens which gives a wider field of view. I'm experimenting with this lens because it seemed that filming with the normal lens the resulting footage would be too 'close' to people and YT demonetizes or limit monetization on my videos.
