If you have just like 8 months till your passport expiration; will you still get visa for a one year program;
And do you need to renew your passport during your program.
Please shed more light on it if you have any information.
You can still apply as far as the passport hasn't expired. I know generally, many countries want at least six months validity before entering. Nigeria has their embassy in the UK so you can renew your passport within the UK if it expires. Especially that you need a valid passport to switch to other form of visa within the UK.

Maybe I used wrong term. Jacket like "coat"?
Just bring in one or two while coming cos it's going to be cold. But you will get a lot of coats here. There are a lot of them you will get cheaply if you like thrift shopping. The clothes you should mostly be bringing should be Ankara because that is what you will miss. And of course, wearing Ankara here with the way it's admired sinks differently.🤭

You need it o. When you come, you will value your ankara more. The compliments you will get, infact you will want to show more of your african heritage, and Ankara is very expensive here. Just take few ones you like

Liquid genrally are not, but some people freeze and they get it through. Some gets siezed. depends on your luck as it is now.
