I think most of the regular viewers realized you were going through tough times with mom. So sorry - I lost my mom, one of my best friends, last year at 96. You should take as much time off as you need to grieve. đ
I took your hospice journey twice. My mom was 40 when I was born and 89 when she passed. Two years later I journeyed with my 84 year old mother-in-law. I would do both a million times over. What you learn during these times is priceless. About yourself, relatives, and your adored ones. I'm so sorry for your loss. We are now sorrowful orphans. May all of you find peace!
Good morning, Diane. I am sorry for the loss of your mom. My daughter died April 22 from injuries sustained in a car accident. She was 38 and the mom to 4. She is my second child. My routines that learned from FlyLady kept me from spiraling into depression. I didn't have to think, I was just on auto pilot. A lot of people think it's silly to have routines but when the storms in life come, they are like a life preserver. I am praying for peace and comfort for you and your family! I am so very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you have been through. I lost my darling husband last year we would have been married 50 years last December. I was heartbroken as a hospital accidental overdose of morphine which was admistered 3 times was the cause of death.
To suddenly lose your dear daughter in an accident must be devastating. God bless you â¤

So sorry for your loss .my mother passed away October 2023. She gave us the greatest gift of decluttering her home , gave items to relatives that wanted the item and selling her home of 29 years! I helped her on her decluttering journey thanks to all the video of CZcamsrs I have been watching!! Thoroughly enjoy your videos.

Oh Diane, I am sorry to hear the news. Today is mymotherâs birthday and she passed away 8 years ago. It is a gut punch to lose your mother not matter how âokâ we are with it. Your mother would be so proud that you have impacted so many of us in such a positive way. You helped me get my life in order and make my house so much cleaner with so little stress. I'm very, very sorry for your loss, Diane. I lost my Momma way too early to cancer in 2014. She was my best friend, and I sense you & your mum were like that, too. I still get weepy at remembering her, but always think: how blessed is it, that I had a Momma who was worth crying for.⤠Not everyone is so blessed, but we were.
I was with my Dad, my mother, and my husband's mother when they passed at the ages of 85, 90, and 93, respectively, and it was such a blessed time. I had always been afraid of death, but I was so comforted to be there, though I still miss them, as you will your parents. God bless you and the work you do for us. You've certainly made a difference in my life.

Hi Diane, Iâm so sorry about the loss of your dear Mum. As hard as it was to see you tell us about her last days, it was a wake up call for me. Iâm 77 and Hubby is 83. Because we feel young and are in good health, you made me realize that declutterring isnât an option any more, itâs a necessity. Thank you for sharing such a sad personal story. I lost my Mom 5 years ago this October, her cancer had returned and she deteriorated rapidly. My Dad passed 12 days before my Mom died, unexpectedly from pneumonia. You helped me so much those first few years afterwards and still even now. You helped get me back on my feet on days when I thought it wasnt possible.

Hi Diane. So sorry for your loss and thank you for your raw video. I am a Professional Organizer and my Mom was my first client, encouraging me to get my business going when she was dying from cancer back in 2007. Self care is super important, you're right. I did regular massages and walks in the forest, time by myself to regroup. We were able to work through her possessions as she got weaker and weaker and it gave me a new perspective on how we value our things. Take good care and may your Mom rest in peace. Grief is a sharp stone you forever carry in your pocket. The edges may eventually soften, and you you will get stronger so the stone's weight won't weigh on you so much, but you will forever carry it with you as you remember your lost person. My sister became very ill right after Christmas and she passed in February. I was totally unprepared for the process of decline, especially cognitive decline. And I was not prepared for the physical, mental and emotional stress of the formal wake and funeral process; and I was not prepared to allow myself to experience the deep depression from loss and how the structure of the whole family is shifting due to the loss of my sister as the matriarchal head of the family. I feel cast adrift.
I appreciate that there is so much more involved than just decluttering stuff. You mentioned a few areas in your video and I am glad to hear you will address some in future videos. Please take your time and only dive into difficult areas when you are fully ready. I will be ready to listen whenever you are ready to share. We have plenty of time. No pressure. The time will be right when the time is right and not before.

Also glad to hear you had a nice time in South Korea. Your ability to go with the flow of your flight delay reminded me how equipped you are to deal with all sorts of unexpected bumps in the road. And the loss of your Mum is a big bump in the road. Your ability to adjust and move forward is impressive.
I feel like I have not coped as well here even though it is what it is and no one is judging me. I also feel ready to get back on track with routines and systems. I feel like I am slowly climbing out of a deep, dark hole. I feel more intense "I don't want to" days now than any other time in my life. I am very interested in your coping methods. Jâai lu un jour que lorsque lâon perdait le dernier parent en vie, on perdait ce ÂŤstatut Âťdâenfant .... ceci nâest pas anodin đ˘. On est Ă son tour le parent de quelquâun dâautre et ce niveau est important car avant nous , il nây a plus personne.

Thank you for this video. I understand things are tough and I am sorry about the loss of your mum. I do appreciate and look forward to what we will see later from you. I have cleared out my parents home and then more recently my mom's apartment when she could no longer live on her own anymore. It gives you a new perspective on things.â¤
