Meet Officer "Jet Jake"! A robot police officer that's build to try to improve road safety! This cop hovers along the side of the road and hides an unpleasant surprise for all those speeding maniacs behind the 2 doors in his chest.. But will it work?
In this video I'll show you all the engineering magic that makes this project possible, You will see “Jet Jake” in action for the very first time and find out if building him was worth it or not?

How many lawsuits do you have against you?

Imagine driving at night, feelin like you wanna cruise fast. But then you see a small robot holding a sign that says "slow down" while having the police lights as its eyes.

I think Jake needs to be able to tell if there is an emergency response vehicle so he doesn't spray on them.

I mean, you could make fake police speed cameras and their matching warning signs a couple hundred metres in each direction

Here in the UK that would soon be plowed into the grass verge by a passing motorist😂.

Just replace the paint with water and let the municipality add some speedbumps, still is a 60kmh zone there

I have speeder going down my road. And on November 8th will be 4 yrs since one of my dogs got hit by a SUV going 70mph on my road when the speed limit says 45mph. But my dog is still alive today. The only thing that happened to my female dog that got hit by the SUV was a dislocated elbow which cost me $1200 dollars to pop her elbow back into place.

I believe you over complicated the paint. It would have been much easier to use water soluble paintballs. Faster loading, larger hopper for more ammo/firing, and no worries about the paint drying and clogging all the tubs. If you did not want to use paintballs, use small water balls. Yes, there are water balls (color optional) the size of paintballs.

The robot should check if it’s a emergancy vehicle or a vehicle that has a emergency

I think this would be a great addition to school zone crossings in America. 👍

Saw some comments about this but not enough talking about safety. I'm in the USA and this would be dangerous and illegal for a few good reasons.

Putting it in school areas would be great ! Informing and teaching that there is an area requiring to slow down is clever ! Nice concept !

I read the comments but like everything, there are people who are complicated. I really liked the idea and it would be great to put it on the school crossing.

I think I read somewhere that if you fill the transparent tube with water, it refracts less and would even be more invisible.

Very Cool. However, in USA, adding that "Police" symbol would probably get you nailed for some kind of Law against Impersonating Law Enforcement.
