idk but the main problem in that time of the country was the prevailing drug lords and criminal which has prioritized and minimized by Duterte--- and the pandemic wouldve been worse if those drug lords were not eliminated because definitely everyone will be looking for jobs and they get pinned down on drug sells and such, but yeah i agree that she is "one of the best" president we never had but I believe she is not the one we needed most that time, but duterte itself. Her talents should also be in the senate not on presidency in my opinion.

Looking back, it made me realize how subjective I was then. She stressed out the importance of objectivity and adherence to the constitution. She was disappointed at her colleagues for being subjective. On one hand, we morally know Corona was guilty, but a trial isn't based on morals, but rather, on a defined process, many of which were bypassed. Morality should have convicted the accused, but by judicial process and by interpreting the constitution, he did nothing wrong. A great look back. I miss the Iron Lady, in a time when we need her the most.

I remember college days and this was a hot topic on our course. We have an open forum and it was about Corona's impeachment. I watch the impeachment since day 1 and I firmly believe that Corona is not guilty, things goes by on the discussion and I ask what was the legal grounds for Corona's impeachment. all students of the hall were laughing even professors and guests. They sarcastically said that "You need some reseaech to answer your question". And at that moment, I realized I should quit studying law because they look me like an idiot. Idc anymore if they found out the truth behind the impeachment or not because at that time I also realized that I studied with the bunch of clowns.
I feel you even though im not in law school. Im in a different field but we also have issues
I was alone in my class arguing he was not guilty. All of them were misled by the media and propaganda back then. Now i know i was not the only one who experienced the same thing.
Sa school nga namin dati, ipinakita picture ni corona sa visual ads (noong 2012 pa ito) at may nakalagay din na tanong sa picture nya kung masama ba sya o hindi. At marami ang sumagot samin na masama sya. Hayyst. Masasabi kong scam ang mga school na yan. May prof nga ako na isang accountant na minamaliit ang mga chefs kagaya ni chef boy logro. Kya umalis nako sa accountancy dahil puro pera lang matututunan mo dyan. Ok pa engineering mas mahahasa ka sa math, chemistry at physics na mas makakatulong. At yung ibang mga prof pa hindi nagtuturo at major subject pa ang dapat ituro sa inyo.

I saw this privilage speech when i was young and this woman win me as a voter forever!
The saddest part of watching this video is seeing how most of the other senators who voted to convict the late CJ Corona was actually laughing/looking at the late Senator like she was out of her mind when in fact she amongst all of them was the only one who literally did her job.Thus the reason why she kept on pointing out that she was the only RTC judge in the Senate. She made her decision to acquit Corona and explained the valid( highlight valid) reasons behind her decision. You can all compare the reasons presented by the late Senator and those presented by the other Senators who decided to convict Corona. No need to say who was right and who was not.
Ang magkapatid palang Cayetano, Peter and Pia, parehong nag-convict kay Justice Corona, What a shame. I feel bad he won in this last 2022 election. Dapat mga bago naman and out with the old crooked politicians. Mga Trapo!

Speech of Sen Merriam Santiago was the best political sermon i ever heard in the political history in the Philippines. Corrupt politicians were unmask but sadly, the seem to be immune from shame. Perhaps these politicians wanted to maintain our international title as the most corrupt country in the world. It is because they tribe well in this kind of social, political and economic eniquity!
This speach should be heard by every lawyer before they graduate.

1. Miriam deserves to be the president of the Philippines way back 1992 and not Fidel V. Ramos
2. CJ Corona is really innocent.
