OK this mob sounds more like a boss than a regular enemy. I looked it up and it is from the Born in Chaos mod. The enemy is called "Nightmare Stalker" and this is what the mod description says about it: An extremely dangerous spirit. Rare and initially invisible, only a pair of glowing eyes are visible. To deprive him of invisibility, he must somehow be injured. While in invisibility, the spirit moves much faster. The stalker cannot be hurt by ranged weapons. This monster notices the player from a long distance (from 40 blocks for version 1.16, and from 70 for 1.18-1.19) and immediately rushes to him. Attacking his victim, the stalker after a withering howl imposes blindness, magical exhaustion and withering on it, the shield block will save only from withering, while the nightmare itself is cured from the attacks inflicted by it. The spirit disappears when exposed to direct sunlight. Dam how could anyone have prepared for that without even knowing it existed?? I'm glad the deaths were reversed.

I’ve been keeping up with the QSMP since the start and I have a theory as to why the tasks are getting more and more dangerous. They were nice and harmless until the eggs started dying. Juanaflippa was the first to go and then she was brought back, then trump and Tilin died and Juanaflippa again. What if this was the punishment that the duck was talking about? Punishing everyone for the death of the eggs as well as a punishment for breaking the wall at the start

i totally agree, the "eggs" have done an amazing part on their roles, the secrets of the other admins and Rubius making the buildings and the mods, though something seems to be building quickly and i don't like it 😭
When Tallulah went down my heart just *sank*. Then Philza and Chayanne.. I was actually crying but then I heard that they were going to come back and they were happy tears. I've never been so upset over *virtual eggs* before. It killed me inside-- I'm so happy that they're back

It's the rarest mob and yet it showed up 3 times that day (as far as I'm aware). Jaiden got attacked by it (Bobby killed it with a gun) and Phil saw it twice. When he and the eggs got attacked, and when he went back to get his stuff

I think the fact that there was at least half of the stream left was the only thing that prevented me from panicking to much. Also, who allowed Chayanne and Tallulah to be so Twinsduo coded?! I really think they should rethink the rules about no diamond Equipment and enchantments on the server. That Rule makes sense on a vanilla server. Where the only thing they really need to worry about is other players. But this is moded Minecraft where the mods already make the game more difficult, They've added some of the more combat-heavy ones on here and then they also added buffs on top of All that... It's insane to ask them to stick to iron armor and just Enchantments they find That frankly isn't that good. Especially since this is probably one of the only times they can go all out and it won't be overpowered. They do add other Mods That could help some of this, But not by Much. It's also a lot to ask Streamers to learn these mods and figure out what's actually useful, On top Of looking after and figuring out everything for the eggs. There are helpful mods here but They aren't just Going to scream Hey I'm helpful! On top of that Some of them are time-consuming. The Mod pack is Also incredibly Cluttered with random mods. They are all competing for the spotlight. So no one knows what is actually good. For example, Farmers Delights has some nice Buffs that come with its food. It's a little time-consuming But the buffeds more than make up for that. But It keeps on getting passed over for the really easy one that doesn't give you much. (At least from what I've seen watching Philza) and that's the case for a lot of the mods here. The streamers don't have any time to do much because they have to look after the eggs. The tension and how motivated everyone is in their egg is great, But I'm worried a lot of people are gonna get burned out. I can't say much For the other Streamers. Since I don't really watch them. But This seems like a bit too much for Phil, He likes chilling and I don't think I've been able to see him Do that much at all in qsmp...

There are some Spanish streamers who have played with some of these mods before, and the eggs are allowrd to use diamond. I think the diamond rule may change soon, or at least after today, maybe some of the tougher mods will be removed. I like it a lot since it lessens the progression gap between players who play a lot of Minecraft and those who play less, it evens things out while making everyone have to use creative solutions to the restrictions

He would need to tell Wilbur when he made it back to the island. He would be scared for Tallulah, but ultimately he would be happy that she’s alive and well, scarred by the nightmare but alive. Phil thanked whatever deity that decided to intervene, thanking them for giving them a second chance, for reversing a wrong that was no fault of his own, for giving the children the chance to see the world for longer. Meeting up with the parents later, all of the adults knew what happened. That was real, but the gods had given them another chance, decided these deaths were unjust and reversed them. But they couldn’t tell the kids, couldn’t subject them to the knowledge that they know. As long as the children believe that it was a nightmare, then the adults will not tell them any differently.

I think it even one hit phil, holy smoke.. And it happened so fast, like it wiped out 3 ppl very quickly. Chayanne did pretty well actually by staying in water for a bit to heal himself before trying to rescue phil, but the mob was just too OP

I had problems falling asleep after this. My poor heart was stressed before from real life stuff and when they all went down it just sunk into my stomach. So glad it worked out.

headcannon: -when they got to the island instead of it being the scary it was a witch that threw a nightmare potion (its not real but in roleplay it can >:]) and they all experienced it the way they did except, chayanne and tallulah used the scroll like phil told them too :D so when the potion wore off (when they were back at the house) phil realized what happened and explained (maybe phil thought it was real for a sec and then went home and found them :DD)
I watched the livestream and since I was busy I stopped as they were arriving at the village (figured nothing would happen since the sun was coming up) and I missed the mob scare by THIRTY SECONDS JESUS CHRIST. I came back to the livestream and heard about the "nightmare" but I thought that Tallulah and Chayanne were just knocked down not perma-killed! Honestly watching this vod is kind of horrifying, even knowing that everything was okay at the end
Dude, I remember watching this stream live, that Nightmare they all three had made me feel so sad and distraught. So glad they reversed it. I myself have had trouble with Nightmare Stalkers on a server before that happened and I knew exactly what it was and how strong it was without the buff. My gosh, I really cried, couldn't believe the eggs died, I'm so glad it got reversed. Also glad that the Nightmare Stalker became a simple nightmare. I mean, it was a nightmare after all, in all sense of the word, the creature or the bad dream, it's not wrong. And oh boy that thing was so scary, thank goodness Phil and the eggs are alright in the end, I would have cried so much if they had died. Chayanne and Tallulah deserve to be happy, and Wilbur and Phil don't need to go through that again (edit) Also, WHY WERE THE MUSICS SO PERFECTLY TIMED LIKE INFINITE AMETHYST IS SO SAD AND IT PLAYED AT THE WORST/BEST MOMENT WHAT THE HECK??? and then Aerie which is so peaceful when they were looking at the night sky and Phil turned the shaders on
About half way through. Chayanne being the most buff and only lasting two minutes against that thing was completely unfair. Bare in mind, he had all prot 4 or higher on diamond gear. Phil got one shot with what we could consider as similar to diamond and he had twice the player health. Talullah as on iron but still took about two hits. The kids had better things than Phil had so it was through no fault of Philza.

I watched hit live and I thought, there is no way they can allow that. I barely saw how he died the first time and looking back at it again there was no way he could do anything in iron armor since that mob one shot him and Tallulah, even Chayanne barely had a chance with the wither effect going through armor.

With how hard the mobs have been it isn’t enjoyable, it’s hard on the streamers but as viewers it isn’t fun. It’s not “interesting content that’s a challenge” it’s just annoying because of the restrictions put on the streamers and the hardness level is not by their choice (noted by litrally every single streamer complaints about it even before today). Torture content isn’t enjoyable especially when their is children characters involved, and it’s a helpless situation. (Mobs need to be restricted like the streamers are) Anyways glad it was all a nightmare in the end, but that wouldn’t have been good way for eggs to die.

They are allowing the eggs to use diamond and some items like diamond backpacks are allowed -- I think they must have a timetable idea for allowing diamond eventually, but it seems like story reasons may need the island to become increasingly dangerous

“This was…unfair…why…” Philza’s voice croaked as he could see the beast that slaughtered the three of them stalking off into the distance, uncaring for their bodies now that it’s snatched their lives.
Philza couldn’t even cry out when the world faded into black.
‘No…no this wasn’t supposed to happen…get up…this isn’t going to stand…get up!’
As the voice…indecipherable in gender and unknown to Philza screamed for him to get up, he heard…
“ABUELITO! ABUELITO!!!”
Tallulah was screaming, Chayanne was crying, he could hear them. A light appeared and Philza reached out to take it, chasing his grandchild and his son’s cries, as the light touched his hand everything exploded and he was shooting upright in his bed, pained groans and a whimpering cry on his lips as he tried to get his bearings.
“ABUELITO!” “PAPA!” The children.
The kids, they were here, he could hear their voices, he fell out of his bed and ran to them, and he felt dejavu as the sounds of the birds in the trees sounded like it did that morning when they embarked on their journey. The sun was in the same place in the sky, the turtles were in the same place as that morning like they hadn’t moved. Everything was the exact same as it was when they were preparing to leave.
Philza saw the kids under one of the trees, Tallulah gripping her notebook she used to speak tightly as her tears fell rapidly, Chayanne was shaking, holding Tallulah and trying to quiet his own cries.
Phil pulled them into his arms, their tiny limbs clinging to him as he took in their cries, their breathing, their tears, their soft hair, their hearts thudding in their chests.
Beating rapidly, beating strong.
Alive. Alive.
They were alive.
The kids seemed to be doing the same to him, slowly calming down and holding their hands to his chest, to feel his own pounding heart beating behind his rib cage.
He held their hands close to his chest, crying into their hair as they curled up against him, his embrace making them feel safe and secure.
Phil soon got a message from the other parents and said they were all having nightmares that day and they would meet up at the school to check on everyone.
Phil took the kids into the house and sat them down, pulling their armor off, setting their backpacks down, and giving them books.
Encouraging them to write what they saw in their dreams.
Phil knew what kind of dreams those were though.
Horrible events that are so quickly reversed and forgotten, written off as a dream or a nightmare once your eyes open.
He would need to tell Wilbur when he made it back to the island.
He would be scared for Tallulah, but ultimately he would be happy that she’s alive and well, scarred by the nightmare but alive.
Phil thanked whatever deity that decided to intervene, thanking them for giving them a second chance, for reversing a wrong that was no fault of his own, for giving the children the chance to see the world for longer.
Meeting up with the parents later, all of the adults knew what happened. That was real, but the gods had given them another chance, decided these deaths were unjust and reversed them. But they couldn’t tell the kids, couldn’t subject them to the knowledge that they know.
As long as the children believe that it was a nightmare, then the adults will not tell them any differently.

I think it even one hit phil, holy smoke.. And it happened so fast, like it wiped out 3 ppl very quickly. Chayanne did pretty well actually by staying in water for a bit to heal himself before trying to rescue phil, but the mob was just too OP

I think the team needs to slow down the rate at which they get stronger. At this rate a zombie would one shot people in about 4 days.
regular zombies took tallulah down the other day. she was in full iron armour. like... that was the day phil started talking about how ridiculous it was getting.

-when they got to the island instead of it being the scary it was a witch that threw a nightmare potion (its not real but in roleplay it can >:]) and they all experienced it the way they did except, chayanne and tallulah used the scroll like phil told them too :D
so when the potion wore off (when they were back at the house) phil realized what happened and explained (maybe phil thought it was real for a sec and then went home and found them :DD)
I watched the livestream and since I was busy I stopped as they were arriving at the village (figured nothing would happen since the sun was coming up) and I missed the mob scare by THIRTY SECONDS JESUS CHRIST.

Dude, I remember watching this stream live, that Nightmare they all three had made me feel so sad and distraught. So glad they reversed it. I myself have had trouble with Nightmare Stalkers on a server before that happened and I knew exactly what it was and how strong it was without the buff. Fucking insane bad luck they got ambushed by it.

I watched Jaiden and BBH before coming here, yet the anxiety I felt could have been cut with a knife. Honestly, it was even more unfair than I had imagined from the story Phil told to the others.
My gosh, I really cried, couldn't believe the eggs died, I'm so glad it got reversed. Also glad that the Nightmare Stalker became a simple nightmare. I mean, it was a nightmare after all, in all sense of the word, the creature or the bad dream, it's not wrong. And oh boy that thing was so scary, thank goodness Phil and the eggs are alright in the end, I would have cried so much if they had died. Chayanne and Tallulah deserve to be happy, and Wilbur and Phil don't need to go through that again

About half way through. Chayanne being the most buff and only lasting two minutes against that thing was completely unfair. Bare in mind, he had all prot 4 or higher on diamond gear. Phil got one shot with what we could consider as similar to diamond and he had twice the player health. Talullah as on iron but still took about two hits. The kids had better things than Phil had so it was through no fault of Philza.
This was so calming and peaceful.
Omg I almost broke down, like actually. I got so attached to chayanne and tallulah and was even making fanart and completely started crying.

I barely saw how he died the first time and looking back at it again there was no way he could do anything in iron armor since that mob one shot him and Tallulah, even Chayanne barely had a chance with the wither effect going through armor.

With how hard the mobs have been it isn’t enjoyable, it’s hard on the streamers but as viewers it isn’t fun. It’s not “interesting content that’s a challenge” it’s just annoying because of the restrictions put on the streamers and the hardness level is not by their choice (noted by litrally every single streamer complaints about it even before today). Torture content isn’t enjoyable especially when their is children characters involved, and it’s a helpless situation. (Mobs need to be restricted like the streamers are)
Anyways glad it was all a nightmare in the end, but that wouldn’t have been good way for eggs to die.

They are allowing the eggs to use diamond and some items like diamond backpacks are allowed -- I think they must have a timetable idea for allowing diamond eventually, but it seems like story reasons may need the island to become increasingly dangerous
