I love cognac/tan accessories, they look great with all my neutrals and basic colors: black, white, ivory, navy, khaki green, etc. My big everyday bag is in this color, too, it’s so versatile.

Some of the reviews said they ran big. Did you find this to be accurate or do they run true to size?
@@annettefeeney5166 I agree that they run a little bit big. I am in between a 7 and 7.5 and I got these in a 7.5 because of the pointed toe. They will work, but are a little loose. If I had an Express store near me, I would go in and try on the 7, but I don't so it'll be fine.
The pointy slingbacks and mules are a prescription for getting bunions.

While I love the color, "cognac", I'm not one to wear mules, slingbacks, or clogs. Once summer is over and the front of my foot is enclosed, I need socks and my heels covered! Bring on the loafers - something I can wear all day and my feet don't sweat but stay warm!
So funny you mention that! My husband and I were just talking about how when he lived in Canada growing up everyone wore clog style shoes in the winter since they were so easy to slip on and off. However, I totally understand since I definitely had my entire foot covered in the winter when I lived in NY and MA. ☺️

I was going to say.... isn't this too much toe exposure for fall? I am in Canada, so defintly not Florida weather in the fall.
I need closed back shoes as well. I just have a difficult time walking in mules without kicking them off with each step, lol! My favorite loafer is the Lorraine loafer by Sam Edelman. My feet are super wide and they have good stretch so they're my number one go to loafer. Also, Sam Edelman just released clogs with an ankle strap, definitely ordering a pair of them because I'm all about the clogs trend!

I have a pair of the cut out boots. Guess what color they are? Cognac !!!! I had some older booties. But I threw them out. They were worn out. I have another pair almost the same style. So I’m set. I loved the heeled sandals. But I don’t usually wear heels.

I found some cognac jeans for fall, and have a cognac leather bag, but other than that, I'm having trouble finding things in cognac I like. This calls for a trip to St. Louis.

I don’t mind faux leather in a minimal-coverage shoe, like those two-strap, block heel sandals. In need real leather for its breathability in boots and heavier shoes, but I can get extra styles with my budget with these faux leather, open shoes.

We understand everyone has different shoe needs. These are comfortable to most women who don't have any particular foot issues and definitely better for everyday wear than the high heels we see styled in so many other videos.
Can you show some shoes that don't have the pointy toe? I don't like any shoe that is pointed.

We do! Because they are a nude color they really work with everything so you can style them with deeper fall colors or jewel tones or even black in winter and they look completely appropriate.

The Steve Madden "Rookie Bootie" & Lucky Brand "Jorry" (Zappos) are very similar, but a little more $$ I own both and very comfortable.

Good suggestions, I’m not a fan of mules but have some leopard loafers. Was surprised you didn’t include the lug sole boots or loafers for fall, not fans? Too trendy? What’s your opinion of cognac color espadrilles in fall? I live in a warm climate ( Houston) so September and October are still warm like Florida I enjoy your videos.
We haven't really found any lug sole shoes that we find flattering on or styled with our looks. They are very on trend though for sure. As for the cognac espadrilles, we would definitely still use them while the weather is warm. Here in FL they are absolutely acceptable this time of year and can be really cute styled with a little fall colored dress.

I love all your videos. The outfits you wear are so stylish. I have never known style. I can not get use to the jeans, and I pants being above the ankle. I'm not sure why unless if you wore those back years ago they would be considered floods. At least that is what kinds would make fun of you for. How can I transition in to those. Help! I'm so tired of looking frumpy is the term I use. I love the look of the pointed shoes however I don't think they would look right on me wearing a size 10 -11. What are your thoughts on that?
Great questions! You may want to first by styling cropped jeans with a short bootie to ease you into wearing shorter denim. For the pointy toe shoes, some shoes don't have a dramatic point (a slight round to the point) and that may be a good option for you if you don't like a typical pointy toe shoes. Hope this helps ☺️

Haven't tried mules (yet!) I have a large foot and it's also wide.
